I think I found out why I liked this song as soon as I listened to it. When I was a kid around 2006 my mom gave me a CD that her friends in a band made. I remember loving the ambient parts with guitar playing in the back. When I first listened to this opening back then I knew it reminded me of something. I need to ask my mom if they’re still making music

That's actually quite arguable. This same band released a song about 2 years prior called Kami to Bara. It's about a guy who comes along a godly power but misuses it hence the world going to shit. It's not as intense or energetic but it's more accurate to the plot of a Death Note than the opening. Nightmare is a great band so you should listen to their other material as well anyway

YASSS THIS IS PERFECT (I already knew about the Death Note though Smosh) And now... done. I fineshed the anime and the relights. Now all that's left is the live actions (probably not even gonna watch that) and the mangas ( to lazy to read,coz I already watched the anime,no copies in my country) And besides,the manga is a big ol' fucking strech Here's my point: Light dies and then,Shinigami realm,probably atleast 20 pages about Light telling Ryuk he will kill the Shinigami King and 1h 30mins wasted just to se Light's face from diffrent shots in another dimension

When I was 11 or 12 years old I watched death note for the first time and it was there that I started to become interested in anime. Today in 2020 I didn't watch an anime as striking as death note, simply the best anime in history.
