I love your close-up swatches. Alot of creators simply don't do justice to their swatches, but you've done a great job. Love that center orange shade -- so unique.

Katya, I'm afraid that I'm not at all impressed with either product from this video. No-one should ever have to put down a primer just to swatch shadows. The whole point of swatching is to see the shades against the skin and to test the pigmentation. You never even showed us how many times you had to swatch before finally showing your arm to the camera. I've seen this palette used a number of times and it's nowhere near as pigmented as those swatches showed. I just want transparency and to see the product how it truly is. We all know that Dior's Quints have not had any pigmentation to speak of since they changed their formula last year. This palette, along with others, are being described as a wash of colour. Please, can you continue to show us how you normally swatch in future as I felt this was very misleading. I understand you did this for the colours to be seen, yet it doesn't truly represent the Quint at all. Your lighting appeared a bit bright today as your skin was appearing very light, especially on your upper eyelids. When you applied the crease shade, it just looked patchy and uneven. Of course, I know that you always blend your shadows, yet today the lighting, camera or maybe the shadow was not up to the task of showing a blended look. It was just as obvious when you zoomed in to show the deepest shade which didn't appear blended either and that pale yellow was just too much. I do like those Dior Felt Tip Liners and own one myself in the deeper green, yet this particular shade of green didn't help the look or rescue the shadows. I haven't bought a Dior Quint since the reformulations, that's how much they don't appeal to me and the colour stories are nothing as nice as they were in 2022 when I bought every Quint that was released, except for the Christmas Palettes. The only Dior products I've bought this year are the Backstage Eye Palette in Smokey Essentials, the Addict Lip Cases and some refills. Nothing else has been of interest except for the Star Filter but that's not an immediate necessity. Okay, now for Chanel. I despise any product that does not have a divider between the shades or products. You can't tell me that the blush, bronzer and highlighter aren't going to corrupt each other. You'll be picking up bronzer every time you try to just get out highlighter and the same with blush. It only cheapens the item to shove three separate powders into the one compact without anything to separate them. I won't even start on the outlandish prices! I would have liked to have seen you wear a lip colour that suited the eye look and not something so very different in red. I'm sorry that this wasn't a nicer comment, but it's directed at Chanel and Dior. Katya, you're always wonderful and fun! Love you more than chocolate!!🍫 Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I agree! The prices are very scary to look at. I will see if I can find a way for my camera to work better with colors like these. Like always, love you more than icecream! ❤️ 😊
