Gobi knows how to pour on the charm. She is such a little angel. Dion is a lucky man. I would love to have a dog that's as cute as Gobi.

All things in this life have a purpose and Gobi had a purpose and Dion was her purpose, I rescued a little mix when My 9-year-old Maltese had to be put down and my little Cookie rescued me from a deep funk so I know what this whole story is about they bring joy and companionship and love you for you.

i really hope Gobi will be on Tv movies someday. amen.

Miracle from OUR FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY, ONE OF HIS MANY LOVE STORIES BETWEEN MAN AND HIS HIS CREATURES.

Just bought the book in 2024!! I never heard this story until recently, but it has touched my heart.

This is 3-5-21. I bought both books of Gobi, intended for my 2 grandsons for Christmas but due to the pandemic, we could not get together, so I've been holding the books. Then 2 days ago, I figured I'd better read them before MAYBE they might come for Easter and I'll never read the book. I have NEVER read a book so fast. It was so compelling, suspenseful and heartwarming that it took me about 2 days of 5 hours of reading. I think I went through each of the emotions Dion experienced. It's a remarkable read to understand all the pitfalls they experienced and so many times the sheer terror that Gobi would not be allowed to leave with Dion. It was a knuckle chewer the entire time of reading this. Even his race when he left Gobi in charge of an organizer so she would not have to endure that long trek in the desert was awful to read. Dion also went out of his way to help a few fellow teammates when one almost died. I was sweating as hard as Dion in reading that. These two have had an unbelievable adventure, what a bond they have formed!. But when Gobi met his mummy.... he was so pleased and she was ever bit as excellent as Dion. I love watching her on youtube treasuring her as much as Dion. They are an amazing couple. To think, this wiry little dog from who knows where in the desert of China, would wind up traveling all over the world and become as famous as any rockstar is unbelievable! Her fans immediately recognize her and all they say is "GOBI?" and point to her. Dion beams with pride and a big smile, as if he has found pure gold! I encourage everyone to buy the book and if you don't want to keep it, donate it to a school so children can understand this amazing story of LOVE.

Finding Gobi 🏃‍♂️ 🐕 I JUSt lOVe Mum and Dion & Gobi!!! 🏃‍♂️ 🐕 👱‍♀️ 💛 💖 ❤ 💞 I've been following from the start. my favorite picture of you and goby Dion and Gobi is when you're holding her wearing a yellow shirt and she has her little head press against your chest. she is just the sweetest and probably one of the most absolutely one of the most intelligent puppy dogs in the world because she definitely knew who she wanted to be with and I am a true believer that no matter what the circumstances our little fur babies always choose us. I just love everything about Gobi and I think I have been with you from the start but I blocked out when she went missing because I couldn't handle it. I live in Florida. thinking what can I do to help it was very traumatizing so I think I've pretty much blocked it out. I just wanted to say hello and I'm just so grateful for Beautiful People

Shelley, I felt just like you when I read the part where Gobi was lost. I read how he finally gave in to going back to China to look for her and then discovering how VAST and densely populated that city was, it was overwhelming what he faced. I was so upset, I stopped at that point to distract myself. I felt sick to my stomach, even though I knew he had found her, but the description and the terror I felt as he lost her, got to me too. I almost considered not continuing reading the book, but i was also curious HOW it was going to work out. They had SO MANY obstacles thrown at them. Nobody else would have been able to hold up. Most people would have given up, but not Dion. He was going to keep his promise because she was now a FAMILY MEMBER. Three years ago, I had to sell my house. I had 8 cats living with me in a huge 3 floor house in the suburbs of Chicago. I had spent all my money from the settlement of my divorce after 33 years of marriage. I had kept the house and paid him his half. And then I only had ONE CAT! I got him for company when he left. 6 months later, a woman offered me her cat while I pulled into a parking space in front of a pharmacy. She was told to get rid of it or get out. She had sheer panic in her eyes. I'm sure if nobody took it, she would toss it out on the street, so I took it. he was adorable, about 18 months old and a little love bug. Then 6 months later, I took in an abused and neglected Pregnant mama cat. My sister could not foster her so she offered them to me and I said yes. I was recovering from my 2nd knee replacement. So when I was ready to sell my house, EVERYONE told me to drop of ALL my 8 kids at a shelter. I felt like Dion, I could not do it. I promised them, no matter what it took, we would all stay together. NOBODY in his right mind would rent with 8 cats. SO I remembered my sister was living in a 2 flat in Chicago, far from the luxuries I'd had. She and her husband had lost their jobs so I made an offer with the help of my son who acted as mediator. She had not talked to me in 8 years! But I was willing to swallow my pride, for the sake of my kids and ask her to rent me the empty apartment where my parents had lived, so I could keep all my kids. The rent was not as much as it might be but I was also living in just my Social. She accepted and we all moved in. Three years later when a suitable apartment for a Senior opened up, 6 had passed away and I only had 2 left. I could only keep ONE, so my daughter took my Oscar and Merlin stayed with me. He being the oldest of the two and never knowing any other mommy, I kept him. He's 21 now but like Dion, I NEVER gave up. We were family and I would have done anything to keep us together. And I did. That is how real love works in my book. I don't know how people deserted their pets during Cratina. I would NEVER give them up. I would get off the boat to stay with them.

Dogs are amazing and I hope that message resonates in China, dogs are special not food! I give monthly to end Yulin and the money is to help with those rescued dogs.
