Canty almost fell off the chair with all the brilliancy.
Nice and clear explanations of the key moves by James Canty III.
Ding doing GOAT things as per usual.
Ding is always chilling 🥶🥶

He’s very active on his own yt channel
Imagine you took a super GM into a brief walk in the deep dark forest... That's the champion
I love Canty, always great to see him :)
That R1b5 was the craziest move I've seen this year alone!
Ding is chilling
Ding was, is, and always will be chilling.
James is great .. as a black man it's good to see him as one of the faces of the biggest chess platform in the world ❤

“The move is actually rook to b1.” *plays move and gets an inaccuracy*
Undeniably the best game in this video!
Top style of explanation 👍 Hope to see more from you James
I guessed everything except for Qf5. Brutal attack by Ding!
I want Canty right there on the thumbnail pic!!! I was almost not clicking on this one :D
James & Ding ❤🔥🔥
got that gotham type thumbnail lmao
Ding, do you like bing chilling?
we really wanted to see ur face when you ask the move
I saw Rb5 but with the wrong rook
BING CHILLING
Love it whenever we get to see James Canty, but I found this recap a little too fast to properly digest. Even though you'd usually think a fast-paced video with music would be more attention-grabbing, a slower video would have engaged me a LOT more
Happy to be able to guess all the brilliant moves right🙂🙂
Both are amazing players. ("rz" and "sz" read like "sh", so You can say his name like 'Kshyshtof)😊
that was gnarly
Best game of the year !!!!
Thanks James, great game
Well if he got into all these complications after having missed mate earlier? Ginger GMs game is still the game of the year. (The immortal) but this is cool. Great upload thx!
Hes already taking up half the video
Actually in the 3rd brilliancy, Bd2 would be a better move.
@bosorot
Жыл бұрын
I found Bd2 also. the best move. non or less both have +17 ,+9.5 . Both are winning moves . Surprisingly, the 2nd best move is Kf1 ( typical engine move ).
@LPSilki93
Жыл бұрын
@@bosorot I mean you are gonna catch a lot of people just taking the bishop and running into the deflection tactic just to get mated in 1. and even after breaking it with C3 u can just take with the Bishop. I think Ding would have played Bd2 for sure if he had a couple more seconds :)

oh nice that's the move I came up with, at first I even looked at Bd8 but after Rxd8 Qxc7 it wasn't so clear.
I do need to spend an year on this
Ding Chilling
It’s so distracting when you go back and forth to show yourself in full screen
I’m so happy o saw every brilliant move
I got all brilliant move correct.
Does Bd2 work instead of R1b5 with similar queen deflection ideas?
i dont this guy but i love the analysis
Dingle berry
Canty the GOAT
Can't believe I found rook b 5
What’s the link for the game?
Great game Champ.

All hail King 👑 Ding Liren 😀
That is colddddddd
weird video format, why do you need to zoom in on canty and hide the board?
Stop zooming in on his face we want to see the chess board
I paused and found Rb5😍. Just need to cut the queen from defense.
Happy that he is the world champion
7:58 bruh i really thought it was bishop D2. which would also have been a brilliant move.
@iDC-Javi
Жыл бұрын
Thought the same and interestingly Stockfish 15.1 recommends bishop D2 as the best move
@LPSilki93
Жыл бұрын
@@iDC-Javi That was the first thing I tried in a classroom analysis after he said pause and then I immediately clicked play again to see if I really got it right that quickly just to get my confidence shattered :'DD My idea was to first think how I can defend the D2 square before getting my bishop there to attack the Queen but maybe I can just deflect the Queen without defending it. That being said that's what I would have played instinctively but I wouldn't even know that my position is THAT good with even pieces on the board. Stockfish seems to think that you're an entire Queen and Rook ahead in this position alone after D2. I mean black can still play C3 or some shit I didn't look further into it but then I just take right? After typing it out I think our move is better boys xD
Ding chilling???
The cutting back and forth might be a little much. I'm having a hard time following the board action. (2min into watching the thing)

When Canty said I can have all night to guess the next move, I didn't mind his lack of confidence in my chess skills. But when he said I can stay for a whole year...well that hurt a bit.
Please, zoom in on the narrator more often, too rare
at the end, why not take rook on b5 with pawn? then it's 2 rooks for a queen and game continues
@kyledulay9742
Жыл бұрын
I'm not following the line you're thinking of. How would white capture black's queen in this hypothetical trade of two rooks for a queen? In any case, as James says at 8:30, Rb5 was threatening Qxd5# and exd5#, so black's next move must address this first.
@eddiekim4348
Жыл бұрын
The pawn can take on b5, sure, but then exd5, forking king and rook. By the end you're up a queen for a rook
@kzkaa.
Жыл бұрын
@@eddiekim4348 it's not just a fork. It's a mate. After axb5, Qxd5 and exd5 are both mates, because the a pawn now block the queen's protection of the d5 square.
Stop making so many cuts away from the board with focus on the host, I get why it's done but I'm not watching tiktok
I got the rook to b5 move let’s goooooo

Impossible to watch the chess game since you are switching the chess board off to zoom in on the commentator. I could not get past 1 minute, horrible to watch. The game is more important than the commentator...
