If you understand dimensional analysis, all unit conversions are a breeze! I mean, maybe an annoying breeze, but trust me, you want to learn this stuff no matter what science class you're taking!

Super helpful. I’m taking an online college chemistry class. Needed to watch how it’s done rather than just in the text! Thanks very much!

Oh. This is usually taught in college? My teacher is making us do this in 8th grade. Kinda sucks for me though.

@@partyhah6622 It's not that it's taught in college. Most college freshmen (like me) just forget it by the time college rolls around. A lot of us haven't had to do this stuff for a few years. My advice to you is to keep this stuff fresh in your mind before you start college so that you don't have to cram-review everything. Best of luck with 8th grade.
Insanely helpful taking algebra 1 and I’m a freshman this cleared up any doubts or inconsistencies I possessed, thanks!!

@@parkersorensen7602 because I need to convert units a lot. Are you looking for a more specific information?
I have a test in chemistry on dimensional analysis Monday, and I have to say this video helped me tons!! Thank you! I didn’t understand this really at all before I watched this but I would totally recommend this video if you need help.

aww yay! I'm so glad it helped you!
Thank you for this video. I was stuck on a complex problem and getting frustrated but this video (especially the last question) helped me so much. Now I'm solving these with ease!
Great video!! You explain everything so crystal clear. Wish every teacher was as clear as you are.

aww ty so much! good luck in your course!
that told me a lot about unit conversions! THANK YOU FOR HELP!
That was so WELL explained! Well. done!
nice my teacher is showing this video for us in elementary accelerated math and it helped greatly
Thanks that was a good refresher 🙏🏽
Omg, than you!! I literally watched every single video of yours!! Now I get it!! yay
Thank you so much for this video & the even slower one. I can't get this subject down for some reason. Wonderful explanation.
This is the very first time I have ever understood dimensional analysis. Thank you
sweet video. 😎 thanks. A very relaxing voice to learn by. 🥰
The best tutorial ever. Thank you!
Perfect! used it for my Physical Science class
The division for the last nm conversion did not give me the same result you found. What did you do to find 3.5x10^10th? Otherwise amazing explanation. Thank you!
In your last problem, the 78 mph to miles per second if I remember correctly, you had scientific notation for 10 >16, I did not see where you got that. This video was super helpful, I just got lost at that point.
thank you this has helped me so much !!

Good video. Keep it up
Dear Robin, first congratulations for your channel. I would only suggest an easier way for converting 78 mph into nm/s. I would start with 1 mile = 1609 m. Then we have 78 miles/h = (78 x 1609) m/h = [(78 x 1609)/3600 ] m/s = [(78 x 1609)/3600] x 10^9 nm/s = 35 x 10^9 nm/s = 3.5 x 10^10 nm/s (with appropriate rounding).
I love your channel

thanks! glad you enjoy it!
thank you for explaining this i have a quiz tomorrow
My given number is 1.50 x 10^6, is there power of 10 in chemistry picket fence formula? I’m so confused and my teachers aren’t even explaining it.
Can you link me to your easy version please
How did you get 10^16 nm? I am so confused by that
@MsArocha241

And then followed by 10^10 nm/s *crying lol
Can someone explain how she got 1.255x10^16nm plz.

It would be more helpful if you had explained how did you get 10^16. I got everything but this part.

Awesome stuff! Clear explanation. However, if I could offer one comment for improvement; you sound bored! You obviously enjoy math, so why not put a bit of energy into it! :)

lachlan dudley haha I’ll keep your note in mind. I’m usually concentrating very hard while making the videos so I think that’s why my voice could come off as unemotional.
What value of x, y, and z, will the equation P^x v^y T^z = constant, become Boyles law? (P ∝1/V at constant T)
got a final tomorrow and thinkin of throwing myself off a building because if I fail this ill have to take summer school
