Dimensional Analysis
This math video tutorial provides plenty of practice problems on dimensional analysis. Examples include converting years to seconds, miles per hour to meters per second, kg/m^3 to g/mL, square inches to square feet, and pages to hours.

I would be lost without you!!! Thank you so much to The Organic Chemistry Tutor!!!!
you released this as i start my pharmacology course today, you are a hero :•)
I realized this fact in a Belgian High school when I was 16 (5th grade ( in Belgium terms)) . This realization was fundamental to my understanding of physics. when I say 'understanding', I mean the ability to "feel" or "predict" what would happen. I always say; "it's not about the 'why's', it's about the 'HOW's'". This 'Dimensional Analysis' is useful to calculate or reason how something works. It can helt you imagine what the hell cm^4 actually means. Great knowledge!

I had a physics test and you saved me, thank you very much
You are going to help me pass this class!
You are a teacher sent by God, God bless you immensely
thanks. i was wondering about this, forgot it and recalled it because of you

The video I've always been waiting for. Keep it up sir.
Love u man u always helped my grades up
right from the first problem i understood immediately. The way you explain the process is very easy to understand. Thank you very much :)
Congrats on the 5 Million subs, you earned it
Necessary topic, good presentation.
Very helpful video. Thank you so much.😊
you saved my life, thank you!
Very impressive, thank for the service
I need more of these practice problems.

Yo how do you remember the measurements for miles to kilometers to meters. Stuff like that?

Hello Organic tutor! You're really amazing, even in this part of the world. Could you please make a video using physical quantities when explaining dimensional analysis
THANK YOU I MISSED THIS LAST WEEK IN CLASS AND WE HAVE A TEST TOMORROW
i'd like a video on the homogeneity of dimensions pleasee!!
As someone taking honors chemistry rn thank you
I'm prepering for my first test and this video helped so much. Thank you!!!

Suppose a car is moving at 60 km/hr. How fast is it moving in m/s? Is the answer = 16.6 m/s
oh my gosh I keep getting so confused, once I understand one problem a whole new one pops up
this was really confusing to me at first this i think i got a hold of it now
thank you

Why are months not considered when converting years to seconds?
@Grace-hs6vy
2 ай бұрын
Because if you were to use months, for example,it would look something like this: 1year=12months=30days=24hours=60minutes=60seconds.This would be wrong, only because months can have anywhere from 28-31 days.(So,the answer would be something like 31,104,000 instead of, 31,536,000. We just use days because all days always have 24 hours whereas, all 12 months don’t always have 30 days. Hopefully, this helped.)
i was free so thought to watch this video as i know i will suffer from this thing in future 😂
But where did you get 1.609 from what if I don’t have the available
@ishwarya3150
10 ай бұрын
you should have a conversion chart that tells you how many miles in a kilometer. if not, then the only option is to memorize it
.first to comment😂🔥
2:24
Why don't we go from years to months instead of days
hi :3
3:54 nope the charge on e- = 1.602 × 10^-19 , u know wht I mean don't ya
The imperial system is an affront against god
this is unit conversion, not dimension analysis
this still makes 0 sense welp im failing chemistry

It's important to remember that everyone has varying levels of comprehension and cognitive processing. Some individuals may grasp information more quickly than others, while some may require more time to understand. It's important to refrain from mocking those who are actively trying to improve themselves. Please try to be more understanding and supportive.
Leave it to math to over complicate something everyone understood already
