I’m really looking forward to the MV to Smoke. Maybe the song will be put into the context of a story again. I read that a gangsta tale may be coming our way. I love that Dimash’s MVs are so multilayered: the music, the story, the cultural and historical references… one complementing the other. That is a huge and intelligent work Dimash and his team are doing (When I’ve got you, The story of one sky, …) Yes, I’m already veeeery excited for the MV. But maybe I have to cool my jets: the Video may be “just” for the joy of it? And that would be absolutely awesome too!

Yes, there is an official video still coming, this was listed as a mood/performance video. You were talking about the sexy that he has been bringing to his songs. You have to remember he is now (soon) a 30 year old man. His lyrics should be a little more grown up, but he still does it with modesty and class!

"Smoke" was realest on Friday on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Netaase, etc. Dimash released this for his fans, because we like performance videos. The MV will be out soon. Dimash has concerts coming up in Budapest and Istanbul. Dimash has always had a "naughty" sensual side, it has shown up in live concert performances for "Be With Me" and other songs and he often teases the audience. But now Dimash is infusing Jazz, Blues, R&B with Classical so we will see more. He is also getting older. Although he trained in Operatic Bel Canto, don't forget his University undergrad degree is in Pop/Jazz performance.

I love your facial expressions! 😂 You spread joy with your reactions. Just as Dimash does with his music. ❤ I‘m amazed, that Dimash still manages to surprise us all. We KNOW that he likes to surprise us. We KNOW that he keeps learning new things. And we KNOW every song before was different in some way. Yet we’re still surprised. He is supernatural! 😂❤

He’s always been sensual 🔥 but as he gets older I think he’s more comfortable with it, and we of course LOVE IT ❤️❤️

My speculation: his team made up the idea of "Performance Videos". He's a born entertainer. He's not hugely into dancing but loves physical expression and wants artistically designed dance routines practiced carefully before his concerts. So they kill four iDears in one go (teaser for upcoming MV, teaser for concert, recorded dress rehearsal, and short "radio" version of song) by making/releasing PVs.

No man has ever attempted to snap his fingers at me without immediately seeing my back for the last time, to say nothing of my face. I recognize and greatly enjoy the layers in the instrumentation and of course his voice. However, the words promoting the degredation of women combined with these visuals...no good in that. Hopefully, the MV will present something that is a good deal less unsettling.

Actually, the highest note was a C6, not a C5. Nice song but bad lyrics.

I think the lyrics are perfectly fine. Maybe less PG than typical Dimash lyrics but they're not badly written. Its not just vulgar lyrics for vulgarities sake. Those are bad lyrics.
