Dimash is from Kazakhstan, but this song is in French. If you click on the CCs the English translation will pop up. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, and his English has become conversational. His Chinese still needs work. But he can sing in any language he puts his mind to. So far he's sung in 13-14 languages.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He sings in 14 languages 7 octaves and 2 semi-tones. Speaking of opera, listen to Dimash sing "Opera 2" when he appeared on "The Singer 2017". When he was on this show, he was 22, and the first foreigner and youngest non-professional singer in the show's history. I hope you check out his performances from that show. songs like The Show Must Go On, Autumn Strong, Adaigio, All BY Myself, Unforgettable Day, and Confessa/Diva Dance. Do you know, I hadn’t even thought about the fact that Dimash will go on singing way after I pass. I’m 79. But I’ve watched him every day since I Am Singer 2017 and have been to three overseas Dimash concerts, my fourth to be in Budapest in May, so I am forever grateful for what I have experienced so far.

He has a 7.2 octave range to his voice, sings all genres from opera to pop & everything inbetween & he even raps!! I have been listening to Dimash for about 6 years now almost everyday and it never gets stale. And he keeps pumping more and more content. Normally you would get tired of hearing someone for 6 years everyday but it isn't happening, I can say there is nothing like the first time of each song, I watch reactions to see others first time, kind of reliving it through them. And honestly not only is he the best vocalist ever, he is a solid guy, very humble and down to earth, he truly loves his fans just a guy of excellent being which just makes him more special in my eyes.

Dimash ( say Dee-Mahsssh) is from Kazakhstan. He is singing in French here. He sings in 15 languages. He plays 9 instruments. He is a fantastic composer as well. Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, 7.7 octaves, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023). I like that Dimash isn't just about the vocal, he knows how to put together a SHOW. I like that your brother gets into the stage design too; as a theater person I think that Dimash's choices in the overall presentation really add to the beauty and talent of his voice! All of it immaculate, majestic, at every level. He's humble, can be hilarious, but can be serious too. He knows how to connect with the powers -- has chatted with both the Pope and the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, not to mention folk from the UN, hangs with the president of Kazahkstan (9th largest country in the world, about a quarter of the size of the USA), and sang at Joe Biden's inaugural. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. He is pronunced DimAsh not Dimish😉. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. And yes y'all are right, he was classically trained since he was 5yrs old and in composing too. But he uses every genre of music in his songs, even rap!!! AND he is so good! But he has pop songs and all kinds. He is now getting his PhD in contemporary music! If you really want to hear him rap and sing pop his song 'Be With Me' is a great one too!
