Dimash is humble and meek. God says the meek shall inherit the Earth. When I saw him live in NY last year, he gave the most beautiful speech. Thanked us for coming. All 19, 000 of us. Said it was his dream come true to sing in America. Thanked us numerous times.

It's very touching to see a reaction from people who are parents as well, I was moved by yours as much as by the song and the story it's just real. I think this song and the story behind it and what dimash did with his voice make this a lifetime experience......just in one song....thank you

I believe the competitor provided Dimash with some of his own expensive medicine, Yes, they cared about each other. They even gave Dimash knee pads because he was always dropping to his knees, lol.

Those cries....that last verse....pleading....heart wrenching. It's incredib how Dimash can fully emote.....

Thank you for your reaction to this song. I always tear up just thinking about this story and then Dimash's performance. The cable car, which was starting its descent was 100 meters up and had 3 times the capacity when it started falling. Such a preventable tragedy! Dimash was very sick when he performed this. It would take him about 3 weeks to recover, but, you wouldn't know it from the magnificent performance. Right after he sang, his voice was bad again. It really is amazing to watch all the contestants and how closely they bonded. They were all concerned and supportive of their "little imported brother." I watched the entire season on KZread (with Eng Subs). Even though they are all established professionals, there's no ego, no bravado, just admiration, camaraderie, and support. I'm glad you got to see DImash talk a little about his home. There's a Kazakh tradition where the eldest son is given to the grandparents to raise until he's a teen. His father's parents moved in with them to help raise DImash. So close with much love and support. Thanks again!

Dimash's voice was Not at it's best as he was sick in this performance. I suggest you react to his "Bastau concert" version it's really stunning. He is special in Every way, that's why he gets showered with flowers by fans everywhere he goes all over the world. Also I can assure you both that the Best is yet to come. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

I love this version. This version is more emotional whereas the Bastau concert's version is more powerful.

I watched that video twenty times maybe, i cried the first ten times, then i got used to it, stopped being too emotional, but now i'm seeing you both , parents, i look at your eyes, and i'm tearing up again. Thanks for the ride, i feel so upset. Out of breath. And we call that entertainement! Thank you for the big smiles at the end! Your explanation was so on point and i reacted in such the exact way as you did that you made me laugh, finally! I'm OK now! What's next?

Thank you for doing this version first! I think part of the Dimash "journey" is seeing what he did go through during the competition and how he persevered and gave 100% of himself to the song and emotions wrapped around the song itself!! This is an incredibly emotional song and knowing the story behind it and the lyrics will just add to your reaction. He said in an interview "I had no voice going into the song, it was very painful during and I had no voice afterwards but the grace of Allah helped me through it". His Bastau concert is dynamic and powerful (as he was healthy) but I prefer this performance for all that led up to it and during it. 💜❤🧡💙💛💚

When he finished he hid from the audience that he was in severe pain and he had lost his voice again. He did recover by the following week to sing All By Myself. He also sang this song at the Bastau concert in 2017 with a healthy voice.

This song is heartbreaking, the worst nightmare could happen to any parents. In this case, the parents knowing they were leaving their son alone or the son watching in horror his parents dying for him.

Hi Guys, Brilliant reaction to this very sad song, you are quite right the other contestants were worried about him as he was the baby of the competition, he had been suffering flu like symptoms for a few days before he lost his voice and with the injections into his vocal chords he was able to perform, although the producers did say he could choose not to without losing his placing. He was so concerned about not disappointing his fans that he went ahead but after he sang and went back to the green room he was coughing up blood, true dedication to his craft. As PTX said below because of his overnight success in China his management company had him doing guest appearances and corporate events which did involve him taking 78 flights in just over a month, including three different cities in three different countries in one day, he just got so exhausted and run down. Btw I keep watching your reactions and didnt realise I hadnt subscribed ... done it now!! 👌👌👌😊😊

In a time where the news are full of awfull things about stars that should be idols to young people, Dimash's gentle down to earth, respectful personality is a breath of fresh air. His voice is just the first step that draws his fans in but the man behind the voice makes people so passionate. The Singer was the right show for him, these singers are seasoned well established artists who are invited for who they are and what they already achieved. They recognize talent and the way they took the young stranger in speaks a lot about how they perceived Dimash as a person as well.

Dimash is sick but still deliver beautifully.

I'm so glad you watched the Gloria Wu version! I know a lot of Dears prefer his later performances which are technically better, but I'd never understand the depth of the meaning of the song without the explanation and lyrics. Also, as you pointed out, it shows "behind the scenes" with Dimash, and the great relationships he had with the other competitors. Thanks xo!

I cry like a baby every time i listen to this song. Han Hong (the songwriter) sang it on an earlier season of this same show and it's definitely worth checking out! I'm so looking forward to watching you continue with your Dimash journey. I know it seems unbelievable, but he really has continued to improve and improve as time has gone by and he has matured into an even more amazing man and performer now. I can't wait to see you get to his newer stuff, but I like that you're going chronologically. The journey is so worth it! 💜

Great reaction guys! Look Dimash's Journey through the Singer series is phenomenal. I think you will see that though all these performances are great, what's different after the show is a level of relaxation and freedom that Dimash begins to sing with. Then you add that freedom with a stronger baritone sound and throw in a collab with a famous Russian composer.....well then you'll see what we mean by "you haven't seen anything yet". But if it makes you feel better, I don't think any of us have seen the extent of his talent. I think the best is yet to come. He's only just turned 26 and got his masters in music composition. The man is just beginning!

Now you know why I so highly recommend Glory Wu...the behind the scenes make such a big difference to not only the performance, but to see Dimash off stage is a delight....
