In 1999, a cableway accident claimed the lives of 14 tourists in China. During the collapse, a couple managed to save their son's life by keeping him on top of the falling cable car. The couple did not survive the accident. Tibetan singer-songwriter Hang Hong wrote "Daybreak" (from the child's perspective) to commemorate the couple's sacrifice to save his child." She later decided to adopt the orphaned boy to care for him as her own. Dimash picked up that story, heard by him as a child when he was only 10 years old, and dramatized it with her voice and humanizing spirit. He interprets it in Chinese, her original language, to honor them, he also explains that he does not try to show off with his high notes but to be able to genuinely express what the author wanted to convey and tries to live up to this heartbreaking song. I were amazed by his vocal talents but when i learn the story behind the lyrics I couldn't help but cry.

Thank you so much for your tears! I so love his voice! His songs so emotional! For me his most touching song, were i cryed , it is song on Kazach language - Karagimai! This song he performed only one time on the concert his composer ticher! This song from daddy to his daughter, in time she marred! And her father sing her this song, to say to her good by, because, she will married, and she will very far from him, and he crying, because he will not to see her again, probably! But he now, what his daughter must be happy, because she must to have love in her life!

If you want to see where Dimash got his voice, see him singing with both his parents on the song "Dearest Mother" which was written by Dimash's father for his grandmother, who is sitting in the audience. His opera singer mother's influence on his wordless soprano passages is apparent.

I know opinions differ, and so they should. This is a great version no doubt. Well, it's my Dimash there for you 😄 still, I feel more close and intimate with the song on the first version you react. It was due to his voice problem, his approach was so delicate and his emotion on it makes me cry since he first opens his mouth.
