Thank you. This is an incredible masterpiece by Dimash. He worked on it for 3yrs. As to story, Dimash is the drowning boy and then the soldier, the girl is the pregnant woman who is the soldier's wife and mother to little girl who is killed. The boy who saved his life grows to be the dictator. The necklaces are the gnomon of a sundial. The taller boy bends his, he is miffed that the girl pulled away from him and went to the boy who made the necklaces. The soldier leaves the fighting to go home and finds ruin and destruction and his little girl is dead. He does not know where his pregnant wife is or if she is alive or not. She gets separated from their little girl and she is brought to an underground area to have the baby. She dies in childbirth. The soldier goes to his old friend and kills him and he is killed by the dictator's soldiers. The baby is born at the moment that his father dies. The mother's necklace is placed on the baby, who grows to lead the pilgrims and people of all faiths who have been struggling to go away from the dark towards life and peace. Dimash's vocals are incredible and jaw dropping! The chants that he is doing come from many cultures and religions. This is for all people and all religions. This is a message against war. He actually performed this for the conference on religions including the Pope. The Pope gave him a medal for this.

The military guy is who saved Dimash from drowing, and the girl later became his wife. She gives birth, while their first daughter was killed in that conflict. Other than that, this is a masterpiece, I cry everytime I watch. Thank you

Thank you for your reacting to this masterpiece. In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. The boy who did CPR and the general both have the same birthmark on their cheek. And the children's facial features also show who is who. Little Dimash also had that good-natured, soft facial expression that we love about Dimash. The big boy and the general, on the other hand, had rather hard facial features. Just look at the scene where the boy did CPR. That jealous look because the girl only had eyes for Dimash. I can't ever imagine Dimash with such a gaze.

When it's a Dimash video it's worth watching no matter how long it is. It's always like a mini movie, he puts so much into them. The only one I don't recommend is Screaming which was his first professional MV but made in China when his productions were not under his control. It's good by normal MV standards, just not Dimash's standards. If you react to that song I would recommend Screaming - Idol Hits, it's a live performance done on a chart music show in China.

He recently became a member of the UN in an organization to help immigrants fleeing war. He and his family have always worked with philanthropy and Dimash allocates part of the funds from his concerts to help nursing homes and institutions for children with rare diseases. Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction! When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. The lyricist isn't even English, they is Russian . He is surrounded by non-English speakers so that explains a lot. Today, at the Kazakh artist’s fan meeting with his fans, the audience saw the MV to this work for the first time. The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own screenplay. The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. Every time I watch this masterpiece I revel in the message of peace, tolerance and love. There is a libretto for this song. Piper is the taller boy who had saved young Dimash and Piper has a crush on the young girl, but she has eyes only for Dimash. The young girl and Dimash end up together and had a daughter (the child murdered by the soldier) and the newborn infant, born in the cave. Upon discovering the body of his dead daughter, Dimash’s character is convinced his family is gone and he chooses to end the tyranny caused by the despotic leader (Piper) and Dimash kills him, knowing this may end the war and would likely result in his own death. The boy who was saved kills the boy who saved him. The infant grows to continue in the march of the different religions all walking on the same path of life under one Sky. There are so many nuances, it is difficult to catch them in one viewing. This was conceived and composed by Dimash over three years. Great reaction! Cheers from Canada!

Story Of One Sky: At the beginning of this song, Dimash sings the lyrics: "Piper's crazy, we're all bound to fall" He is referencing his childhood friend that saved his life on the beach (future leader) by refering him as "PIPER" It referenced a deeper meaning from a medieval folklore inspired by a Grimm Brothers legend of the "Pied Piper" of Hamelin who lead innocent children to their death with his mesmerizing melotic flute. There will always be another "Pied Piper" that will lead innocent people astray with their (mesmerizing rhetoric/propaganda) and lead them to their deaths through the guise & facade of war "to unite people". At the end of the video, we see Dimash as a grown man with the symbolic necklace. He is the child that was born from the union of his parents (Dimash & the girl from his childhood). We hear the lyrics: "Here is last chance...Piper's lead us to the slaughter long enough" "Time to wake, it's not a moment left to lose" With such devastating loss & suffering, he sees the futulity of war & chooses NOT to follow the "Piper" anymore. However, as we see here, vengence is not the resolve, as violence met with violence just leads to more death & suffering, everyone looses. The new born child (from Dimash & his wife) becomes the leader to lead a new generation from all walks of life depicted by various nationality & faiths to walk a different kind of path of Peace & Neutrality NOT war and choose LIFE. This sentiment is reminiscent of Jesus' teachings recorded at Mathew 26:52. Here Jesus commanded Peter, one of his diciples who tried to to defend Jesus from the Roman soldier's unprovoked & unjustified arrest: Mathew 26:52 "Then Jesus said to him (Peter): “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword." Similarly we see from this video (a labor of love) and Dimash's impassioned plea for PEACE!!! Even if it means to walk away from all that you know and to start all over again as seen the last image of him lead the people to a path of PEACE! At the start, each one of us can make a CONSCIOUS effort to choose LIFE! Hence Dimash sums it up beautifully when he sings the lyrics of: "Here is last chance... Can we balance on the edge of fiery grave? Our future, is it possible to save? "So when our crazy Piper's failing, We decide to stop the trailing, We decide to follow the light... We're making final turn from wrong to right. We are choosing life!

Great reaction, thank you. Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations. He has said that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play. This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there was four in 2022 alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th. The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. It’s mostly about life, death and rebirth. Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently. I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video. The Story of One Sky is an absolute mind blowing masterpiece and deserves unrivalled recognition from all corners of the earth. This makes you sad, cry and smile but leaves you questioning the direction we as a humans are travelling. Dimash promised something epic and that was a colossal understatement. Creo que ahora deberias escuchar la version acústica de OMIR, junto a su hermano, esta canción nos la regaló el año pasado en su cumpleaños, habla de lo agradecido que está con la vida, pero hace poco la presentó en versión acustica, te la recomiendo mucho. Luego puedes revisar el dueto que hizo hace poco con Placido Domingo, donde Dimash hizo su sueño realidad, cuando tenia 5 años veía un concierto de Placido Domingo y soñó que algun dia cantaría con él, y se hizo realidad en el prograna Virtuosos en Budapest, le dijo a Plácido que estaba en la música por él.

Even if u dont review it plse go watch Dimash perform this on stage in his Almaty concert !! That will show how Dimash wants us all to pull together to live life from a place of unconditional love. As he sings the closing refrains we get to hear and feel his deep deep passion for all to stop judging but support each other with unconditional love. He almost collapses in the last refrain. The vocal technique you were questioning is typically called a yodeling technique and is colloquially referred to sometimes as a goat trill. Somehow it's a text at the end a lot of reactors such as yourself drop the word dialogue at the beginning and start reading from the second word. It's meant to read dialogue and understanding etc. Dialogue being one of the most important parts of trying to turn this crap around.

No worries, I prefer reactors to go in blind. Don’t worry about what some of us think. You do you, the way you want not what others dictates. Dont change anything, love the way you react.

Going in blind is the best way to watch Dimash. That way you are getting raw reaction to it, I think Sir. This one is very complex has a lot of symbolism, and its message is gravely important. In some of his videos the music is the background because he wants you to focus on the story's message. Often you will find that the background story of the song is what it is all about. Every detail tells something revealing and needs more than one viewing. Like the stain on DImash's chest at the end told me that he had indeed died, and he was with those of all faiths walking toward the light of love. To me, the religious leader who "died" was being reborn into the woman's baby. The necklace was a navigational compass that showed whoever wore it the right way to go, but the direction is their choice to make. But, everyone has their own interpretation. That was mine. His dialog message at the end sums up the whole video. Everyone should watch this and really think of what kind of world we want to live in. Their childhood was so loving and peaceful. As adults it all fell apart because of hate and destruction. Every time I see this video, I wonder how many brother and sister Dears we have lost due to war, even little children. It breaks my heart. I understand the concept of reincarnation to be - Life after death. All the created souls, Adam's progeny are in a special place awaiting their time to enter the earthly realm for their test. some will only live within the womb and never breathe of this life. Everyone has a different life span as HE, The Creator Wills. We need a physical body to live in this life via the portal of our Dearest Mothers. Grow in their loving care to fulfil our destined tasks in this life. The test specifically written for us. In the death of the physical body, the soul ascends to its Creator and Sustainer to be accepted or declined. There are two places in the intermediary space for good souls and one for evil, rebel souls. There are souls waiting to be born before the world as we know it ends. Then comes the Final earthquake as our Earth mother throws up everything hidden within her. The Day of Gathering of all the souls for Judgement then begins. Graduating to a Blissful eternal Life or the other place of rejected souls, eternal torture. God gave us Guidance and warnings of consequences. It is the clear choice for everyone as he/she comes of age which pathway in earthly Life to take. Hopefully the parents taught the child to be respectful and responsible so he or she can make the correct choices. As we sow, shall we reap. From this life to the next. And He, Most High above all His creations, The Most Merciful, Knows Best. Peace.

Search for Dimash almaty concert part 3 the story of one sky. (If I knew how to copy the exact link I would) Now you have seen the mv you can experience his extraordinary vocals. This apparently was where he first introduced the song and the audience were spellbound and moved to tears

During a Dears gathering before the Dimash Hong Kong Concert (Dec2023), a dear gifted us a replica of that necklace (gold coloured) with " I CHOOSE LIFE" engraved on it. I wore the necklace out one night (at HK harbour) and 2 beautiful strangers recognised the necklace. They were Dears from Japan. ❤❤

It took Domain three Years to write this, there was a terrible war fought by his own country in it,s past.

Dimash has been the idea man for the 2 MVs you have watched. This one in particular was his baby for 3 years. From writing the music to the completion of the MV. If you watch his Stranger Concert Part 3 where he sings this song live (around 23:25), he has an powerful speech before he starts the song. Dimashali is his production company but he hires professionals to film and direct. But Dimash funds a lot of these music videos himself. He did have a sponsor for When I've Got You in the company SMALL, which is a grocery store chain.

This MV it's perfection, isn't it?? In your life, you will listen to only a few musics that can make you feel so many different and strong emotions while watching the mv. It's something so rare. And dimash makes it with perfection.

There were three friends. Already at that time the girl chose the protagonist (Dimash). In adults, the girl and the protagonist had a daughter who he found dead and thought the whole family was dead. He went looking for revenge and killed his childhood friend who was the president, not knowing that his wife with the help of people from different backgrounds, cultures and religions gave birth to a boy who symbolizes the hope of unity. The protagonist also ends up dying. At the end of the video, the baby is already an adult who has managed to unite everyone on the path of humanity. This symbol is key in the "Story of One Sky" It was used by "crazy Piper" on his military clothing and it was his symbol of power, a misunderstood meaning, imposed on others as a way to find peace through war. His wife and son used it. It was used by him also on his military clothing, not the original symbol but a new symbol made with 4 of them making a unity, a circle. In the end, the original symbol is carried by his son when he takes the path, in the company of the world’s spiritual leaders, looking for the truth, the light ( up the mountain, over the horizon - hope) to save the Earth. Symbols: The piece that is hanging from the wire is a gnomon. It is a piece used in sundials and the sun passes through the circle producing a shadow that indicates the right path. Note that the friend did not put the necklace on his neck and when bending the gnomon, right at the beginning, he stopped pointing the right way and was no longer useful. Throughout the entire MV he has the piece but never wears the necklace. The gnomon is the key piece throughout the entire MV. It points the right way, the way of tolerance and peace that is used in the end in the character of hope who is the son of Dimash. The military man who is the friend who saved Dimash's character, in the beginning, is the crazy Piper. Based on a medieval legend he presented a solution to the problems. A village was full of rats and out of nowhere, Piper appeared with a miracle solution to solve the villagers' problems. By destroying the rats, he made all the children in the village disappear. This part is important because we must not believe the propaganda of these people who say they will solve problems but then do more harm than good. The only way is union, tolerance for difference, and believing that we can, together, follow the right path for all humanity.

Your analysis was closer than many reactors get on the first watch. However I'm always confused how people get the two boys mixed up. It is clear that Dimash was the boy that was drowning and the boy who became the dictator was the one who saved him. They make a visual connection that is very clear. The scene transitions from the boy who saved Dimash from drowning holding the "emblem" in his hand and transitions right to the scene of the dictator with the same emblem representing his regime.

I was literally just coming here to say the same thing although it's no criticism towards this reactor as many have done it. To me it's so obvious that the little black haired, dark eyed boy is supposed to be the little Dimash. The older taller boy looks nothing like him. Even down to him having a similar scar on his cheek to Dimash albeit on the wrong side.

The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya! (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! The story of the Pied Piper is also the best metaphor for a situation, where the grownups have a conflict and the children suffer for it.

A big reason why it's always risky for artists to venture into this territory of expressing strong opinions on worldly matters is because it can make them a liability to their label. He doesn't care. He is his own label now. And he doesn't wanna sign contracts with any other because he refuses for his artistic freedom to be limited. So he's created the perfect environment for himself to work in. Also: I don't like fancams generally, but the Story of One Sky fancam from Almaty is quite interesting. It shows that even this, perhaps his most complex song, he can still reproduce identically singing live on stage.

Dimash is sooooo good! He IS music and he plays himself. "The story of one sky" is full of symbols and it´s well worth watching the 13 minute short film. The live version of this song at their concerts is paralyzing to watch on KZread. I can't even imagine what it will be like to see Dimash singing it live.

This is an absolute masterpiece and I suggest you to react to the live version, the first time he performed it live in Almaty (the best fancam is the one made by Dimash Vietnamese fanclub): I was there and it was the most powerful musical moment of my life. Dimash is so more than the best vocalist ever: his insane vocal skills are his instrument to deliver a message to the world, he is always pleading for peace, unity and respect, and his art transcends all borders, cultures and religions. Dimash took 3y to compose this masterpiece and told that it was painful to him. We can feel how he gave everything in this piece, it is like an open heart surgery... Dimash is clearly the next level, an absolute genius, beyond everything we have known so far. He is the ultimate performer.
