Kazakhstan became an Independant country in 1991. Dimash was born in 1994. There was a great push after their freedom to be a great people and country. Before that, they and 15 other countries were controlled by the USSR. (United Soviet Socialist Republic) now known as Russia. The USSR brutally used the Kazak men and other countries to fight for them.
Happy 2024 to you, yes I am in NC so I know what’s going on in America too, but Dimash has tremendous pride and love for Kazakhstan, and he represents his mother land beautifully. Thank you for sharing your genuine thoughts, yet another wonderful reaction, I am glad that you noticed the ripple effect at the end, it’s so true, Dimash is bringing his country’s culture and music to the World.

As a country they have a lot to be proud of this year. Yes of course there will be negatives, there is with any country but for a country that's only been independent from the USSR for a little over 30 years they have come so far. From the conservation of endangered species to huge leaps in scientific progress, recognition in sports, to being the main country involved in peacekeeping talks and forums between world religions, 2023 has been a great year for Kazakhstan and Dimash is out there being a huge part of that both as an artist and an unofficial diplomat.

His passion for The world, his country, his parents, his siblings, his friends, and especially his music is extraordinary !
