Thank you for reacting to this beautiful anthem. He sang it before the boxing fight between Gennady Golovkin from Kazakhstan (Dimash's friend) and the Mexican Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas. He traveled to Las Vegas at the request of his friend Golovkin just a few days before his big concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan in September 2022. The anthem of Kazakhstan is so beautiful. I woke up extra early to see Dimash sing it. In Germany the fight was I think at 3.30 or 4.00 am. It was worth it. I couldn't believe it when I heard his voice. I was so proud when he sang the anthem, even though it's not mine and I sang it the whole day. I couldn’t get it out of my mind. The recorded images from Kazakhstan are also breathtaking. Kazakhstan is such a beautiful country with an incredibly beautiful landscape. Things went crazy on Twitter after the fight. So many people wanted to know who sang the national anthem and Dears had a lot to do educating people. Love from Germany 👋 ⛴️

I'm from Canada and I saw video of Kazakhstan and, since that, I'm in love with this beautiful country !!! If I was more young and have money, for sure I live there... And, of course I'm a Dear for 6 years, of Dimash ! What a beautiful Anthem and Dimash is very proud of his Country and I know why !!! And, the Boxer of Kazkhstan, win this match !! Unfortunately, the Kazakh boxer did NOT win the match. However, Dimash showed his support for his countryman and his love for his country, and wowed the whole crowd with his voice. Then he hopped on his flight back to Almaty in time for his concert.

I know very few national anthems--my only exposures to most of them comes from hearing them played during the Olympics--which narrows the field quite a bit. But...I know Kazakhstan's anthem, thanks to Dimash. It is a wonderful anthem and he does a spectacular job of it (of course.) If you end up reacting to national anthems, I would propose this one for the United States--the Star Spangled Banner sung by Whitney Houston in 1991 at Tampa Bay Stadium for Super Bowl XXV (American Professional Football Championship game). This Super Bowl was played 10 days after the Persian Gulf War started, and was the first time the Super Bowl was telecast in most countries around the world. In addition to North America and the UK, it was broadcast for the first time in Russia, Australia and many other countries. Her rendition of the anthem even made the Billboard hot 100 top 20. You can find a lot of KZread videos of her performance. Of course, since they are from 1991, the sound quality isn't wonderful; but her performance in context of the times in which it was sung makes it especially memorable.

That would be cool to hear anthems. Some are very militant. I like this Kazakhstan one.

The Kazakh fighter did not win, though it was expected that he might have. The fight was in Mexico. Perhaps he realised that Dimash had already won the fight.

Dimash's low register is so impressive, it is so strong and proud, and imagine all the people in Las Vegas coming to a boxing fight, many of them didn't have a clue who the guy was who would sing the national anthem of Kazakhstan, and then THAT was coming - after the low impressive beginning THAT ending....?! The fight must have been quite boring, but everybody was still talking about the guy singing that anthem... I would listen to any national anthem - if Dimash was singing it... 😅 But! If it is possible, I would recommend the national anthem of the USA sung by Lady Gaga for the inauguration of Joe Biden. Somehow I ignored Lady Gaga in my life, but I was really impressed when I heard her in that moment - although I learned later on that she wasn't well at all at that moment and can sing much better than that...

I think yes, you should do a poll about National anthems. I would be interested. I only know 4 and maybe heard a few other from the Olympics but forget them.🥹 At this boxing match in Los Vegas last fall, my thoughts were with the poor Mexican lady who had to sing after Dimash.😢That would be so crushing because even your best efforts would sound lame.😭😭 I love this anthem and like Daniel, if I was younger, had money, and was better at learning languages, Kazakhstan looks like a great place to move and live proudly.
