Dimash deserves a Grammy, Oscar and many more to come, he is the best of the best, no debate!

Did you know that Dimash was only 22 yrs. old on this show? It is too bad you did not play this to the end. Dimashs' father surprised him by appearing at the show. It was so touching and asked his father if he did well. Dimash once said that there was nothing special about himself. He is just a man who loves to sing. He has worked very hard his entire life, since the age of five, and made great sacrifices to pursue his dream; and all of his life, he has never thought of anything for his life but to sing. He said that if you cut open his heart, you will see music. Even today, he still has vocal training for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. He is THE most humble person, kind, generous, and loves his family, his country, and his "Dears."

Just a bit of trivia for this video: The camera goes several times to a man in the shadows in the audience. He is shown again striking the air with his fist just as Dimash finishes the performance. This man is Dimash’s father, who had come all the way from Kazakhstan to surprise his son. He stayed out of sight until the end because he did not want to interfere in any way with the success of Dimash’s performance. Dimash did not know he was there until he caught a glimpse of his father after he finished singing.

@@bulent2435 has nothing to do with 1st place or second place. Is has to do with credit where credit is due. When someone has a talent to which we haven’t recorded in the past we need to acknowledge it. We are still talking about Einstein for example as the the highest bar there has ever been. And rightfully so. We can say the same from Dimash in his field of expertise. It might not be relevant for you. But it is for many other people. It has to do with giving people the respect they deserve for which they have worked for extremely hard and succeeded at almost anybody and in any field that has a form of competition within thrives in any field to achieve to be the best. Once you succeeded, it’s a normality to give credit to that individual to say he/she is the best and in this case the best that ever lived (recorded). Peace.

Его папа Канат Айтбаев, продюсер Димаша, друг и "крылья" Димаша, в конце сделал ДА!... Организаторы конкурса тайно пригласили его в Китай.... Видимо, тогда и был подписан контракт с китайскими компаниями на 8 лет. 3,5 года Димаш прожил в Китае до пандемии. Китай стал его стартовой площадкой. Там он абсолютный IDOL. Его первое выступление с песней SOS на следующий день было запрошено более 600 МИЛЛИОНОВ! раз.... Если бы китайские diars имели выход в KZread , то все рейтинги MTV USA включительно порвали бы в клочья. Но даже и без них Димаш 17 недель в топе, но так хочется поднять его еще на ступеньку выше, он достоин только 1 места! Ничего, все еще впереди... вот приедет Димаш в США скоро... и Гремми будет его! I was frustrated he didn't win the china 2017 competition, he nailed overall performance compared to the winner, Sandy! And true 2018 jesse J win ,(correct me if I'm wrong). But dimashq didn't stop from here, instead he fly higher

Dimash participated in twelve programs on “I am Singer”, he was in second place because s China would not let him be in first, make everyone's reaction you will love

A British singer won in another year though, and the season Dimash came second was won by a singer from Hong Kong. There's definitely bias in the voting of course though, since this is an art after all.
