It's a cultural thing. Russian audiences are more inclined to sit and applaud respectfully. I know----Dimash definitely deserved a standing ovation, but it is what it is. Also need to keep in mind that this was a gathering for International Women's Day rather than a group of fans assembled specifically to see Dimash. At this point, many of these women didn't even know who he was.

There was one concert that only Igor Krutoy stood. And after that concert he and Dimash had some great collaborations, are still having. Apparently audiences don’t stand in Eastern Europe. They are known as the Vocal Kings of Kpop. They sing every genre there is, except opera. They have the finest, technically trained vocalists of all groups. Their three main vocalists always show up in the best kpop vocalists lists. Even the rappers and dancers can sing extremely well. I hope you at least take a peek at The Killing Voice,in which they sing a medley of about eight of their songs. The EXO‘Ls will find you and inundate you with suggestions.

I believe there may still be a few tickets available for his 30th Birthday Celebration Concert in Istanbol on May 24th/2024. They respect whoever is sitting in front and don't want to disturb the view of the show, even after it's over: It's a cultural issue! This song was composed by maestro Igor Krutoy with lyrics by the famous singer Lara Fabian and the premiere took place on International Women's Day, in Moscow, at the Kremlin Palace, in 2020!

Even as a Russian English speaker I find this singer's pronunciation quality highly questionable to say the least. I mean, in the very first line he pronounces "now" as "nou" instead of "nau", which is just unconscionable, frankly. Then, shortly, "whole" is pronounced as "woul" instead of "houl" and then "strength" as "strange" and then I just stopped watching. I mean, I can see it when voice coaches comment on his voice skills but I can't in a million years believe that actual native speakers could be impressed by singing that mangles their language so much in half a minute.

I'm English, his accent doesn't bother me in the slightest and his mispronunciation of the occasional word is getting less and less with each new English language song. When Dimash sings, the words don't matter, his incredible voice and the emotions he puts into every song tell you everything you need to know.
