Please do continue to add one of your bands songs behind each reaction, I have loved 2 out of 2 so far, just so you know, the Dears are Picky about their music, you might have already figured out that we are consistently listening to someone who takes his craft to another level, I guess I am saying that’s a big compliment. I loved the placement of the addition of the violin, it almost gave it a mystical feel, I really enjoyed it, so thank you ❤.

This was a very enjoyable reaction/analysis video, guy! Thanks. AND - thanks for including one of your songs at the end of this video!! Another Dimash performance which you might like to take a look and dive into is his cover of the famous Vitas song, "Opera 2". If you are unfamiliar with the song, check out the original first to then experience what spin Dimash put on it. Vitas has a very intriguing original song video on Vevo, and then a couple of live performance videos. Orig: kzread.info/dash/bejne/amGlvKZviKu8c6Q.html Early live: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hoGYp8qOhq3Raag.html Most recent live: kzread.info/dash/bejne/X6GnvLKsiZS_h6w.html Any would be a good beginning to prepare you for the one Dimash does as part of his appearance on the Chinese show "I am a Singer" in 2017. kzread.info/dash/bejne/moSep7eogMqTkco.html

I’m a 79 year old U.K. lady. Clicked on to you tube 2017 to listen to a man called Dimash sing S O S. I’ve been watching him every day for a couple of hours since then. Been to see him live in Latvia, Dubai and Turkey. And going to Budapest and Istanbul to see him in May., I can’t get enough of him, He moves me like no other performer and I’ve seen people like Michael Buble, , Adam Lambert, Chris Isaac and dozens of U.K. bands and artists. Never went overseas just to see someone perform before. Plus, the man offstage is remarkable, very special. Respectful, loving, humanitarian, patriotic, generous and humble.

Agree..He is so mesmerizing that the style of music is irrelevant.. I have literally listened to him everyday since discovering him 4 years ago.. I found him while looking for my other all time favorite Freddie Mercury whonI think is the best at controlling an audience...Dimash is in that zipcode with superior vocals...

I'm an 82 year old musician/singer/performer/vocal coach and huge Dimash fan for 7 years now. I listened to your City of Sound recording and must tell you that you have a magnificent voice. Your breath control & placement are great. I love the fry/light distortion in your lower register which is really wrapped inside round & purity of tone. Your voice has a great emotive quality that gives the song an honest emotional conversational quality. It feels like your speaking to me. I wish you all the best in your musical journey in 2024 and look forward to hearing you again.

He makes me cry when he sings. He does that to people. I've watched grown men cry when they hear him sing, time and time again in reaction videos. Literal tears. I've never seen anything like that. I lived in Austin TX and have seen alot of live shows and met many rock stars and local bands in my day, but none of them moved me the way Dimash moves people. He's extremely special. A vocalist like him is like one in a billion. I'm glad to have lived in a time where I'm able to witness such a phenomenon. ❤❤❤❤

You can be as sassy as you like, it's your channel and there are far too many people who get obsessed with his range, even though Dimash himself says his range is not important, it's how he makes his audience feel. This isn't even my favourite performance of this song but I'm not going to criticise you for that either. We all have different preferences. What appeals to me the most is his sheer versatility and the way he keeps evolving as an artist and as a composer. We've seen him go from being a pop idol in China to a neo classical star in Russia and now he's on to the next evolution with a whole new lyrics team in the US and fantastic songs like When I've Got You which will appeal to the west. His global success as an independent artist makes me proud to be a Dear every single day.

In interviews, Dimash himself when asked about his range - every time he is asked he responds with: I wish people wouldn't focus so much on the range, it's not the most important thing - it's just a bonus; most important thing is how you sing the song, your feeling, your heart, your character and performance - and does the audience feel and connect with the song/story (paraphrasing). I also agree that When I've Got U was the perfect song to start with for 2 reasons (not that my agreement matters, only what u think matters): Having seen WIGY first, you are not SO hung up on his range - because a couple reviewers who only want to hear Dimash sing 7+ octaves in every song and only deep ballad type songs didn't like WIGY, which was a bummer just because I don't understand limiting an artist who likes to explore every genre and create his own version of them - one even said that the style and that type of song was "beneath his ability" - yuck!, and 2, it was in a style you like. P.S. his digital concert from 2021 - his SOS version is in a more ROCK style than this version. Some reviewers review more than one version - it would be cool to see you review his the other one too!! quite different....while keeping the essence

Dimash himself says that his range is just a tool. and that what is important is that he connects with the audience and brings them to a special place with his singing. He won't even tell anyone what his range is.

That’s what’s so special about Dimash. He becomes the song. He looses himself in the song. Sometimes it seems it takes him a few seconds to come back to reality. Thank you for a great informative reaction. Hope to see more from NM 🇺🇸

There is no right or wrong way to start listening to Dimash. He got a large catalog with huge variety and what becomes someones favourite might not be the favourite of others. Each song from him should be able to stand on its own, so no song is a "wrong song", please explore his songs in whatever order you like. Good luck on your upcoming tour, being fans of Dimash, also an independent artist, we know very well how important the support from fans are. Dimash got little to no support from the industry or media outside of Qazaqstan so Dears worldwide put in a lot of work to support and promote him the best way we can.

My favorite hobby is watching singers completely re-evaluate their lives after hearing Dimash. Word is, his parents ( who were both musicians ) immediately put him into vocal training upon discovering that at the age of 6, their son had perfect pitch.

It always amazes me how Dimash can emote songs in language he does not speak. Not only that, he can convey those emotions to listeners who also do not speak the language of the song. He does not speak French, yet he emotes this song perfectly. You are correct in noticing his skill as a performer. His vocal skills are other worldly, but his ability to share that emotion is what makes him so special.

A fun fact - even though he doesn't look like it on stage, he is towering to imposing 194cm tall and fashion designers have been going bananas over his figure :-) Your question about his breath control - he spoke of swimming and diving regularly to help with lung capacity. Once again you have seen nothing / just yet. SOS he performed for the very first time during his Chinese "The Singer" competition 8 years ago catapulted Dimash into stardom over night. Since then he was just growing and growing. Wait till you hear what he can do with his lower register (Love of tired swans in Russian; Stranger in English), or with his skills of melisma or throat chanting ( improvisation on Igor Krutoy´s "Know" / "Znaj" in Russian; Sinful passion in Russian), or with his emotive story telling ( Ikanaide in Japanese; Autumn Strong in Mandarin; Daididau in Kazakh ) - mind blowing stuff. He loves R&B, folk and ethnic music, rock, pop, opera you name it. He sung with Placido Domingo among others. His range is documented to be A2 - D8. He plays 8 instruments, he sings in 16 languages ( as of today).

There’s no one like him! I’m 25 yo and tho I’ve been fan of many artists through the years no one ever has make me feel the way Dimash does. There isn’t just because of his indiscutible perfect voice (one of a kind tho) but the emotion he gives when he sings is out of this world. I believe he really is an angel send to earth I don’t care how cheesy that sounds, he’s here for a reason, and he’s fulfilling his purpose, and listen, I’m not even religious lmao, he is truly out this world. He’s humble, down to earth and very family driven, which adds to his mixture, so what I’m tryna say it’s not only about his voice bc if I talk about it I would never finish. Pd: I love your reactions and you’re a crazy good singer too 😊 pls react to more Dimash you’ll see there’s always more of him. Recommendations: *El amor en ti LIVE Almaty concert *Olimpico LIVE *Ikanaide Tokyo Jazz festival *Love of tired swans music video *The story of one sky music video (I recommend to pay attention to the video and the lyrics it is very emotional with a powerful message) ❤❤❤❤

You have also the rare ability to appreciate and hear the full spectrum of the voice of Dimash. Dimash said once in an interview: Find and take your own talent and make the best of it with all the strength you have. It doesn’t matter what talent it is and you will be successful and find your happiness. Dimash takes excellent care of his voice: no alcohol; no smoking; no caffeine; etc. For breath control, he tries to swim every day, and practices daily. He was a red belt in taekwondo but gave it up years ago when his parents worried about injury to his throat. He composes (one of his degrees is in composition); has written screenplays (one of which is “The Story of One Sky” music video); can act; can dance (not his strongest suit, but he’s good). Plays SEVEN musical instruments well. Sings in 13 (or 14?) languages. Speaks Kazakh; Russian; English; and is studying Chinese. Extremely humble! He turns 30 years old in May, 2024. Truly a remarkable young man.

But the way he is using his voice, the flexibility, all colours, the dynamics, the way to convey the emotions, his artistry, creativity etc, is what matters. Dimash's abilities to combine all this elements is why he, for me - no matter what taste you have, is the best vocalist in the world I haven't heard more than this song from you, but I will certainly listen to more. listened to your song, bravo and congratulations on bringing your light and dreams to life! Wishing you the fulfillment of your dreams that others may be touched and inspired from them! Something u may come to also appreciate about Dimash is that whether he composes a song entirely or someone composes a song for him or he covers (which he does not do much anymore ) Dimash continually adds the element of the unexpected. One of the most common comments from singers and vocal coaches and just admirers is "I had no idea that was coming". A reviewer who goes by Sir Hairless is an extremely well trained musician (worth checking out his DQ reviews!!), and his reviews are really master classes!! He shows on the piano and explains so well the many ways Dimash when composing music takes us to the unexpected; where a particular chord or part of the composition would lead the listener to anticipate a predictable progression, Dimash very often does what is NOT predictable and not for shock value, but as Sir Hairless says by way of very careful creative thought - for a very specific emotional journey - it makes perfect sense, resolves in a way that is also unexpected and which keeps his listeners constantly engaged and excited by his mystery, wizardry and the magic in his music!!. As Dimash says in his VERY rare interviews "I want to help the listener escape into a world of fantasy, to other words" (From memory not exact). So that may be something to notice in his work as so much of American music is very formulated and predictable....you know exactly where it's going, every genre has its predictable patterns. cheers!

Ok ...Sinful Passion next. Dimash is incredible. His kind of music is not of the mainstream pop culture...but his music has its place in the world. As does yours. Theres room for all who strive authentic artistry and skill. Be careful not to get dependent on over-production. But sometimes its whats needed. You have a serious approach. Not sure what the lyrics are daying...but it seems you care about it. Good going. I used to be heavy into playing a serious person. I can appreciate other musicians. Especially the ones better than me. I admire them and support them. Try to learn from them. But there is going to be competition. I say...so what. You put yourself out there its up to the world. Dimash is a bonafide living legend. For so many reason. Enjoy the greatness of it all. There is no competition. Lol its ok. Thanks for your reaction an honest one. You see a great thing you can appreciate it. Believe me...its the tip of the ice berg with him. If you want to see incredible breath control, check out "Sinful Passion" - Dimash has this miraculous run for 25 seconds on one breath! For performance and emotions, I highly recommend reacting to Dimash's idol as he was growing up, Lara Fabian as she performs the French song (with English subtitles) "Je Suis Malade". For Dimash's low notes, SOS 2021 Digital show (3 years later than this version of SOS - Dimash keeps improving his craft every day!), or "Stranger" where he hits an A2 For Dimash's highest note sung live (a D8 - off the piano), check out the song he wrote at 19, "Unforgettable Day" at Gakku For Dimash vocalizing during a whole song (not one lyric sung!), check out his "Ave Maria" Most of Dimash's songs are masterpieces. You almost can't go wrong. And they all sound different from each other, giving a glimpse of Dimash's huge tool box. As a vocalist yourself, it might as well be required to study Dimash as he's probably embodies the best of natural talent (his voicebox and vocal cords) coupled with the greatest amount of daily training since he was 5 years old.

Dimash "Stranger" from New Wave on his channel is a great combo of voice and theatrical performance. 🔥🔥🔥 You will have to blur the video or make it transparent so it does not get blocked by the label. It is from his album of songs composed by maestro Igor Krutoy. For info, you will need to blur some of his videos from his channel or from TV performances, so they don't get blocked. If you pause and blur the videos you should be OK. Enjoy the Dimash roller coaster 😎

WJ as a performer Dimash brings it home by reaching into your soul, grabbing hold, massaging it, and pierces the veneer of ones pain, breaking through and in a small way heals. He transforms like no other. He is my "soul menderer" and I never get over it. I have been a fan since 2017 China Series when he broke on the scene. Good job!

So thrilled to see you back with Dimash, especially with everything you’ve had going on with your own music! Hopefully 2024 will be a Huge year for your group. Dimash himself doesn’t like to talk about range, he feels that range isn’t important, touching the listener with the song is what’s important. SOS does give a better sense of what Dimash is capable of, especially the seamless transitions between vocal tones and styles, as you mentioned, everything is very deliberate. I noticed that another comment mentioned Ogni Petra , Olympico people call it both things, that song was composed specifically for Dimash by Igor Krutoy, a very famous Russian composer who actually came out of retirement to work with Dimash. I have no doubt that you will really like that, it’s from one of his concerts so you really get the live energy, visually awesome plus an amazing song. Some people do the more recent version from the Digital Show, but the preferred version was definitely from his concert, just in case I will attach a link. Thank you for another great reaction. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.htmlsi=fKN6L5od0Cipi58u

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Although I admit I AM impressed by his 7+ octave range, like you I am mostly impressed by his storytelling and mastery of different techniques. I think, despite the comments, most Dears (Dimash fans) feel the same way by the way. Dimash doesn't even want to disclose what his full range really is, he said it's not important to him. My favorite songs based on the storytelling are Story of one sky, Ikanaide, Sinful Passion and Daybreak (Bastau 2017 version). Hopefully you'll get to listening to those one day. Thank you for taking your time to react to Dimash!
