Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch then fade it in the air, how difficult it is ! That spinning soft super head voice/ whistle hold for 15 seconds with dynamic! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥

When asked about this song Igor Krutoy stated that Dimash called him and said he would like Igor to compose some music for an idea he had for a brand new Ave Maria. Dimash loves Gregorian choral music so that's what inspired him to do this. Igor wrote the melody, then Dimash devised and sang these exquisite vocals and a masterpiece was born. When Dimash and Igor get together miracles happen. The Choir is the Sochi Youth Choir who accompany him when he is at the New Wave each year as a guest performer. This year he is also a judge 💖🌟💖

He could sing at least 12 different languages. He decides to make a wordless song. He is right. Words are not needed, this says more than a million words.

I actually played this for my roommate several days ago as she was passing through the veil. I like to think it gave her peace as she traveled to her new realm. Listening to this song you can feel the throwing off of suffering and the welcoming embrace of heavenly beings. I'm sure she felt the same. Her suffering is finally over.

Dimash's beauty, elegance, power and perfection are absolutely unreal between minus and infinite plus. The people of this planet are not ready to absorb this beauty, to understand it, to feel it with their brain, heart and soul. Dimash came into our lives like a huge meteorite with the speed of light and shocks. Shocks and he will amaze the world for a long time to come. Hello, Dimash does not need words to express such powerful feelings, as in this vocalization. I think it very logical that he did this because the Hail Mary that we grant, is Catholic, and Dimash is Muslim. He he sings for the whole world. Dimash recently changed his vocal tango from 6 to 7 octaves.

Absolutely nothing wrong with doing the video that way. Really enjoyed that Christi.

Take four notes, one vowel, One of Jewish faith to write the song, one of the Muslim faith to sing a Christian hymn and then go tell me that Music doesn't unite us all. (And the Messa di Voce at the end is sublime. )

On that last note, I think I remember seeing a documentary recently released in which Dimash was practicing this technique with his teacher in front of a mirror.

"Italians like to say that any composer is worth exactly as much as his last work, meaning all previous successes and achievements don't matter ... and I started to consider my new compositions through the prism of the Italians ... One evening , about three months before "New Wave", Dimash called me and asked if I could write "Ave Maria" for him, explaining this by wanting to sing something in such a style ... it happened that I had a free evening and I sat down at the piano with pleasure and, remembering the Italian formula of responsibility, I worked with inspiration until I reached the desired result ... for my ears, soul and heart. Loved the reaction! One thing you might consider is adding a filter screen to the video so you don't have to use still images. This seems to help with the copyright and fair use. :-)

Also, it’s very nice that you pinned a comment about the technique Dimash is using here, “messa di voce”, which is incredible, I like that part so much . This requires an extremely high level of vocal coordination, particularly in the diminuendo, so the technique is rarely heard outside classical music. Dimash brakes the boundaries and gives us this wonderful gift. I was expecting to hear some explanations in the video, for those of us that maybe are not familiar with it. But it’s nice that pinned comment.

Schubert's Ave Maria is the one we have first in mind because of its extensive ceremonial and liturgical use. This Ave Maria masterfully and wonderfully vocalized by Dimash is an original musical work by the great musician, composer and pianist of today Igor Krutoy, (also a very successful businessman, and wealthy show business entrepreneur). Although it bears some resemblance to another (of the many Hail Mary's that exist), the aria by the Russian composer Vladimir Vavilov (sometimes erroneously attributed to Giulio Caccini), it is neither a version, much less a plagiarism. Krutoy composed it at Dimash's request. It is a beautiful work dedicated to the mother of Jesus created by a Jew and sung by a Muslim. Something very significant and in my opinion one more proof that God has chosen Dimash as Messenger of Peace, although perhaps he does not know it himself.

Another great reaction and analysis. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever listened to, and only Dimash's voice could evoke such a profound emotional response in me. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance numerous times already since it premiered and I am moved to tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice. Most of what I am stating here is likely nothing you do not already know. It is more for the benefit of others. This is a vocalise interpretation of the opening vocals of Schubert's “Ave Maria”. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this rendition for Dimash; it is not a cover. The piece uses only three bars from the original composition and changes the fourth note to a higher note. Someone explained that Dimash called Igor Krutoy with an idea for a brand new interpretation of Ave Maria and asked him to compose the music. Dimash is said to love Gregorian choral music which is where he got the inspiration. Igor composed the music, after which Dimash conceived these exquisite vocals. Someone else likened it to “a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (dark to light)!” The last note Diamsh sings is known as "Messa di Voce", the singing of a gradual crescendo and decrescendo on a long sustained note. It is considered one of the most difficult vocal exercises and voice experts regard it as the ultimate test for any singer, a skill even the most experienced vocalists rarely ever master. There are at least 11 other compositions titled "Ave Maria" and over 40 different renditions of these versions. The version most people are likely familiar with is Schubert's 1825 composition or the 1853 Gounod composition, based on a famous Bach keyboard prelude written 137 years earlier.
