It was Dimash that came up with the idea of creating a new vocalise version of an Ave Maria so he called Igor and put it to him, asking him to compose something for him. He did, Dimash's perfect vocals have made it so gorgeous. He wanted the choir as he loves baroque choral music and now we have this masterpiece which will become part of musical history. Dimash is a vocal genius 🌟

It is impossible to have a favourite with Dimash. Every song has its own nuance, tone and reflects something different. Stranger is glorious for me, Olimpico, War and Peace, Queen medley with Super Vocal Boys, Ti Amo Cossi, and any of his Kazakh songs, Love is like a Dream, Sinful Passion - truly it is all beautiful!

This wonderful vocalization was written by Igor Kruty especially for Dimash. Without words Dimash moves to tears !!!!!

Answering your question which is very difficult to answer because they are all magnificent !! Maybe I can tell you that the first and second songs I heard left me shocked and are SOS and Sinful passion. In this last period I add "Stranger".

My favorite - today :-) - is Daybreak from Bastau. Others that can change from day to day are Sinful Passion (Slavic Bazaar or Moscow version), The Love of Tired Swans (Kremlin version), Adai + Daididau from Bastau and SOS from the Slavic Bazaar. The last is a sentimental favorite. It was the first performance I ever watched of Dimash. It blew my mind. There are others. For example, Love is Like a Dream, Adagio, Hello, and Autumn Strong from The Singer in China, etc ... His voice just appeals to my ears. I feel at peace when I listen to Dimash.

Hi, i´m Susana from Spain and i could tell you a few songs but i´m going to remommend 4, "S.O.S.", "Stranger", "Screaming" and "Te amo cosi"... for example, But they are all a work of musicla art. All the best.

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal technique : “messa de voce “ from Italian Bel Canto technique at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, how difficult it is ! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥

My favourite changes often.. At the moment it's Stranger, but it has been SOS, OLIMPICO, Daybreak, Give me Love, Let it Be, Samaltau, Daidedau

“Know” from VTB Arena at Igor Krutoys show. It’s fantastic and really shows his colors. The choir behind him (the sopranos, mainly) we’re watching in awe with raised eyebrows. It’s too funny. But it’s the best version, very unusual scale, eerie but compelling. He also does a vocalise version of Know that should be watched after the lyric version.

Anything what comes out from him is favorite, period 💝💝💝

PRAYING This ancient prayer set to music by composers over the millenia, is said when sung, to increase the power of the prayer a hundredfold. Dimash and Igor have played and sung a prayer for humanity in performing this publicly. I thank them both.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D #4 C #4 and B4 to G #4, G4, G4, D #5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

There`s way too many favorites to pick just one. But of course, SOS from I am singer is so special, because it was, to many of us, the introduction to Dimash. Others would be Unforgettable day (Gakku), Diva Dance and Daybreak (Bastau), Know (New wave and Arnau tour vocalise), Autumn strong, Adagio, Show must go on and Opera 2 (I am singer), the list goes on and on. But with SOS, I must say, there`s something very special about Samaltau, the Silk Road International Film Festival 2019. The story behind the song, the staging, atmosphere, everything. Absolutely amazing.

Picking a favourite Dimash song will always be tricky, but my number one would have to be «Stranger», followed closely by «Samaltau», then «Love Is Like A Dream», «Across Endless Dimensions» and «Love Of Tired Swans» all tied for third place! He's also performed in some awesome duets, my favourite being «Ulisse» with Anna Garifullina - then there's his group performances, where we see his «Queen Medley» with the Super Vocal Boys taking the top spot - and I could go on, and on - and on!🤗😅
