Dear Megan, being a very emotional woman myself I want to warn you that you have been lucky so far to miss the many songs from Dimash that make me cry although I don't ever mind Dimash making me cry! So be sure in the future to ALWAYS have tissue ready. For non English songs he did on Singer 2017 you can find some back stories & performance video with subtitles added on the channel Gloria Wu. If you react to back story & performance of Daididau & Autumn Strong & especially Daybreak I guarantee you will CRY. There are more but that is a good start. When I know I am going to watch him I only put my makeup on AFTER he sings! One of the best songs you will ever see Dimash do is called Daididau. It is a traditional Kazakh song and all of his Kazakh songs are incredible. I suggest you do Daididau from Bastau. You will see him play a traditional instrument, dressed like a prince in traditional clothes, and show incredible emotion as he performed a very special song to an audience in his homeland. Thousand and thousands of people there.

Another song that Dimash sings in English that you need to react to is "Your Love". Amazing and beautiful performance, it is one of my favorites.

You have to know Dimash sings "everything": ópera, pop, rock, jazz, folk, rap, yes, rap. The versión of "Screaming" at Idols hits is with rap, different from the official video of the song. He also dances, he is multi instrumentalist: piano, guitar, drumbs, dombra...he speaks in kazakh, russian, English and learning mandarín. He's hansome, cute, kind, stylish, classy, humble, pacifist, perfeccionist, stubborn, funny, hard worker and more. His vocal range is more than 7 octaves. He studied music since he was 5 years old. The singer version was definitely more emotional, but this version, later on in the song, was more technically perfect. They’re both great versions and really just depend on if you want emotion or perfection

I agree, Dimash's "The Singer" Adagio captures him so raw and powerful. After watching videos of at least 30+ Dimash songs I haven't seen anything that's not excellent. However, each captures various sides to Dimash. But being transported to Paradise by this boy wonder is never a bad thing. Blessings, JK

The performance from Singer is much better. He plays piano on that one too. The Dears will advise you which performances are considered the best. Watch the Singer when you are in your own.

Yes, I noticed he winds up singing on his knees fairly often. It has to be harder, for a normal person, to sing on your knees, Obviously, for Dimash, it doesn't hinder his ability. In fact, he even sings a song SITTING on the floor. I don't remember which one it is but I'm sure the Dears will be able to tell you. Love your reactions.

I prefer the Singer version of this song. Lara Fabian liked it so much she started collaborating with him. (Her version is also beautiful and haunting).

This song was written and sung by Lara Fabian ,which is one of Dimash’s idols. Her version is also beautiful. She is one of the best female singers . I would recommend the song “je suis malade” if you’d like to listen to her. Several of Dimash’s songs are covers of her songs. Don’t get me wrong , I’m crazy about Dimash just like everybody else.
