He also sings in about 13 languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh,Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. From that day on, not a day goes by that I don't hear Dimash! No classification for Dimash. He is in a class by himself. His range is extraordinary and his skill has only improved more since 2017. There are more recent performances of this song that improved minor pronunciation issues with his French. He is nearly 28 now (May 24) and he was 22 then. Sinful Passion, Olimpico, Stranger, Ave Maria, anything he sings in Kazakh, Ikanaide (first time singing in Japanese ). He has been trained both in classical and contemporary singing and has been trained since 5. Both his parents are musicians. Oh, and he plays 7 instruments.
