This is one of my favorite Dimash performances of all time. Aiui the organizers had warned him he would likely be dropped from the competition unless he came first in that round because he had come next to last in the previous episode (with Uptown Funk). It was as if his slow, long game plan had backfired. So the lyrics were meant literally to the audience. Would they make him believe?

Dimash first won a national competition playing piano when he was just six years old. He only played for a few moments at the start but it was immaculate. And, of course, he sang too!
