Dimash was a "smash" in China after his very first appearance and they loved him. The day after, they had to provide security guards for him. Even after the show ended, the executives of the show contracted with him to stay in China for two years. They even built a state-of-the-art recording studio just for him. His first album went platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour. Today, Dimash is still a sensation in China and has won several awards there. One of the contestants said that it was stressful to sing after Dimash, but, even they treated him with respect, genuine kindness, and the utmost respect. One of his covers from his idol Lara Fabian. He has been inspired by Lara in the way he sings and interprets a song. She also wrote the lyrics of his song Your Love.

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (the band Renaissance, Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). This is the only Dimash cover that, in my opinion, the original artist did equally on par with Dimash. Lara Fabian deserves the title of the High Queen of female vocalists. Vitas did redo his song Opera 2 to bring it closer to the Dimash cover😅🙄 I love the intensity and drama of this performance. Dimash scored lower points from the performance before this, so in Dimash perfectionistic style, he really brought this song over the top.
