There are 2 communities in india that take a lot of proud in their state and community in this country and both of them have been warriors, i.e sikhs and marathas, people don't ask these dumb questions to marathas but for some reason they are always so hostile towards sikhs and ask them to prove their loyality towards india. This is highly disrespectful and he started with this question. These things divide country when people are not accepted and this discrimination is definitely based on religion.

Its our Diljit and we love him. His hardwork is paying off. It's Diljit's Era and we are living in it and we should enjoy it. I had chance to attend his concert in Vancover, Canada It was my very first concert and it was unfortgetable concert, We traveled from USA. we bought the tickets 6 months in advance.

People are commenting left right and center about Diljit like he's gem, pure and what not... But actually he's genius... He didn't spill any of his secret, strategies etc... He dodged every single question of Raj and being chill.... Hats off to the guy... 😬

And in that too he requested both parties (farmers and government) to sit together, talk, and mutually decide what is beneficial to both. He did not take any one party's side. And This protest was by farmers All across India - Punjab, Haryana, Tamil...

honest suggestion= diljit really wanted to open up about what really changed him in 2020 and tried like 5-6 times to take you deeper into that direction but guess you couldn't take the cue or did not want to go there which might be disrespectful for the guest too. Was really looking forward to know what matters to him now if not money which again he would've answered deeper ques if you would have taken the cue. appreciation= diljit has never ever opened up this much and talked this freely ever so kudos to you for opening him up like that. Was a lovely episode.

Would knowing his private life actually be enough. It will be couple of facts and once we find out inadvertently we tend to make our own conclusions on why he is how he is. If we really respect him as an entertainer shouldn’t we respect and bow down to his commitment to keeping his family and private life separate? He is the only artist at his level who has managed to not lose himself in the process of show biz. Thank god for that. Stay just the way you are.

Punjab agreed to be a part of india in 1947 , have you ever tried to figure out what changed that khalistani movement started ? There should be some reason right ? Esa to nahi hai k ek din subha uthe aur bol dia chalo khalistaan bnaate hai (without any reason). This hate will never let this feeling end in the heart of punjabis but it will rather enhance the feeling for khalistaan.

Dear Raj, I thoroughly enjoyed your podcast and was delighted to experience the content and many of your conversational skills/tools you used skillfully. Only because you asked for any suggestion/critique i say this, I felt that you missed the opportunity to get deeper than the surface level in exploring Daljit. Anyone who would have researched Daljit, would have found that after 2020 he started an inward journey that made a big impact on his thinking and expressions , and now he apparently values it the most. I could be wrong, but I felt that you could not strike the cord to make him feel comfortable in expressing anything of it. You definitely tried to touch it, but your questions did not express your adequate knowledge to pique his desire to divulge those precious thoughts. I missed that , especially after the excellent rapport you built all along. Other than that, I loved your podcast. you are really a master of your craft. ❤

Raj bhai the average ticket for his 55,000 people concert show was at least $300-400 and not $75. Front row tickets were sold for around $8000-10000 and lower bowl were around $600 average and upper bowl was $250-400. My seat was very average and I paid $450 for my single ticket. This is in CAD

I know right. The prices were crazy this year. Last time Diljit performed in an arena in Winnipeg, I paid $105 for a seat on the floor. This year the furthest ticket in the back of the arena was $105. Diljit is making millions.

The level that he is at, and what he us doing with his global shows for the world economy, any country would be happy to have him. And we Indians are busy labelling him a khalistani, when he is busy appreciating, respecting India wherever he goes. Even in this podcast, he appreciated India so many times, said, "There is No place like India in the whole world." Why no clip on that ???? Nobody wants to notice or appreciate him for that. Phir bolte hain Punjabi kyon bola. Bhai tumne utna hi suna ... baki jo bola jab India bola, na tumne suna, na highlight kiya. Kuch responsibility to tumhari bhi hai as an Indian media person, to take pride in, and support an Indian artist ??? ❤

I am 3rd generation South Asian (Sikh) in Canada . I always say I am Canadian, So what if he said Punjab, you'll making a big deal about it. I have asked some ppl that here they always say I am from Delhi, Mumbai or Gujarat etc. Why don't they say India!!!!

indians always mention their ethnicity 1st .like punjabis will say that i m a Punjabi 4m delhi/ mumbai etc.tamilians say that they r tamilians 4m Delhi/mumbai/pune etc.even if they r in different parts of india they mention their ethnicity first.nothing wrong in that.wonder y they made a big deal out of it.
