Digitizing a 1940's Laquor Record using Wet Surface

In this video I demonstrate how I digitize records using a wet surface to cut down on the surface noise. This was a very noisy record to begin with so it's not the greatest example but the technique is what I am demonstrating here. It actually works very well to cut down surface noise as well as crackle.
