My buddies and I were visiting New York city and had no idea how to find the Ed Sullivan Theater but we eventually found it. After standing around the back doors for a while we were in for a treat. David Letterman came out and sent a couple of guys out in a cab. Then we saw 2 of the evenings guests, Keanu Reeves and Johnny Cash!

This is amazing. I was there when Keanu Reeves arrived. I can only see my face for a split second but I remember it like it was yesterday, and it was 26 years ago! He was so sweet, he literally stood outside and signed autographs for at least 20-30 minutes until everyone got one. All personalized. He even waited while I spelled my name. I still have it hanging on my wall. Nicest celebrity ever. This was a nice surprise seeing this.

Wow, just saw this comment. Sorry it too so long to respond. Thanks for sharing your memory of this. Me and my buddies just happened to walk to the area before the show started. We had no idea what to expect. Quite exciting!

She asked to see the muscled arms he had in Speed. He said, “no I don’t have them anymore, that was a long time ago. Now I’m a thespian.” She was obnoxious with the constant screaming. Hope that helps. 😃
