Sorry it's been a bit since I've uploaded. It's probably going to be a bit before I upload again.
Basically I've purchased this machine used from United Rentals. Since it's used, and I expected there to be issues I also purchased the United Guard from United Rentals. Doing so I expected issues to be resolved when brought up. But this hasn't been the case. I've been getting SPN 3242 FMI: 0 on this machine since about 10 minutes after I purchased the machine. I've sent it back once before. In addition to that it's got the wrong grease fittings on the hydraulic thumb I had them add. They didn't grease it when they installed it and I've been unable to grease it since I got it because of this. In addition to that the AC doesn't work correctly (as you'll see in this video). I opted to purchase an IR temp gun to get temperatures during operation of the machine. These temperatures ranged from the 60's at the start up to 95 degrees after about 45 minutes of operation. But only one vent. The one behind and to the right of the machine is blowing 62 degrees. Either way there is an issue with the AC. Then because why not, the roof glass leaks.
To sum it up I bought a cabbed machine that has a non-functional AC that leaks, had them add a thumb I cannot grease, and can't run the machine for very long due to an error code about the DPF inlet temperature.
The United guard is supposed to cover 3 months or 400 hours of operation and I have probably only got about 50 hours on the machine since I got it due to this error code. The other things wrong with it don't technically stop the operation of the machine but being hot in a greenhouse cab and being unable to grease an item that needs to be greased regularly to ensure continued proper operation are kinda show stoppers when they should be fixing them.
So this was more a fact gathering run than a use for something that needed to be done (though the ditch did need to be done). Which is why the video is rather short. I didn't want to continue to operate the machine while it had the error code. Though I did run it longer than I wanted I needed to get more information about the AC unit so it could be documented.
At the time I started the camera it was already at operating temperature. Because I started it, let it warm up, and moved it to the entrance of my shipping container to refuel it. No work had been done at that point aside from relocating about 50-75 feet.
