On my Italian side,both of my great-Grandfathers were shoe cobblers. They would be either mesmerized or horrified by that incredible technology. I,personally,fascinate at it. That beautiful ink painting is a true wonder,and I also love those,umm,sort of portable Sumi ink brushes!! I have a few old-timey brushes,they need re-bristling,as I got them when my high school teacher retired and gave them to me. They are from the 1950s. There must be a restorer in Japan that can replace the hairs,the bamboo handles are precious.

Very glad you are feeling better. A fingerless glove for your camera hand might make filming in cold conditions less difficult. There was wind noise, but I could always hear you over it. Nice button finds.

Now those are my kind of shoes, made to measure! Wonderful sketch, I look forward to seeing more. Keep yourself healthy, this COVID thing almost did me in when I first got it two years ago but it did help me develop immunity to more recent bouts that I have had.
