That is a great idea to rescue these animals. The blind one appears to be a tortoiseshell color and I have heard that they are pretty smart. Our house cat, Molly, is blind as well. She is about 13. She gets around pretty well if she isn't startled. If that happens, it takes a little while for her to get her bearings and then she is fine again. She has figured out how to get in the chair with me and has places she has designated as hers. We also have 3 cats who inhabit an area of the garage that has runs, windows, an area we can stand in, feeding areas, water and separate liter areas. It runs almost 3/4 of the way across the 2 1/2 car garage. Our cars, however have to stay outside. They have a contagious condition that we found out about when we had them neutered as kittens, which is why they are out there. We live near a freeway and it isn't safe for any animals outside. There is also a good sized area they sleep in that we heat in the winter as it gets very cold here. They are 13 as well. One had to have several of his teeth removed last year. They seem very happy and we can see them on the window ledge, when it is a comfortable temperature. I have a bird bath within viewing area too. We've had as many as 8 cats in the house at one time, with 8 more out in the garage. Keep up the good work.

God bless you two! You’re always saving animals in your area!! That is a beautiful tortoise shell Kitty. I have always thought tortoises makes the best pets as they seem to have an amazing personality!!! I have one we got along with her all black sister (Princess) and she don’t Meow she squeaks every time her mouth opens instead of a meow a squeak comes out! So we named her Echo! No we named her Squeaker! She the most amazing kitten we ever had! She loves water! Lays her face down in the water bowl to take a drink! If you leave the tap on she cups it with her paw and gives drinks to the other cats from her paw! She’s just amazing!!!

Fantastic cause, good on you! ❤ All our feather and fur babies are rescues, or the cildren of those we rescued. It's important to us to ensure they get a good life. Being in Australia, adopting from other countries isn't an option, but ever since we learned that black coloured animals have a low adoption rate, we prioritise them as our first choice. Why? Apparently people are still extremely superstitious about black dogs and cats and won't adopt them. In some places their adoption rate is lower than old and/orspecial needs animals. So, seeing I'm pagan, I decided to always own black cats... let my "inner witch" out! 😂😂😂 Safe journeys. ❤
