Can suspension be the reason for cut in tyres on potholes. I have S90 volvo. In last 6 months have changed 4 sets of tyres.

Tire cut can also happen due to low profile tires and poor adjustment of suspension. If tires are tilted inward or out ward then also it can happen

Pretty sure torsion beam is the worst out of the 3 cause independent systems always will provide a better ride quality....I don't know which out of the other 2 is better, but if I have to take a calculated guess I would say double wishbone will win out over the multi link in terms of ride comfort/quality, though I am only saying this cause multi link is more performance focus and most performance focused components usually have to compromise on the comfort
