This guy going to be a mega star within the next year. Help me out here, so he was born in Brazil and raised in Mexico? He walked out with a flag that had both Mexico and Brazil on it. Although he's speaking Spanish he still has an accent to it..

He's brazilian, but lives in Mexico, and he speak spanish and portuguese. His last fight (before 295) the octagon interview was in portuguese, dont know why he was talking in spanish, the translator was also from Brazil too

@@giovani9093 Yes it's true, Fabiano , the main UFC translator, was translating Spanish to English with him. It's rare that I hear him translate Spanish, most of what he does is in Portuguese. But anyways Diego Lopez looks Mexican, that's what I thought he was, until I heard him speak and then saw him represent Brazil also... So it was confusing. And no worries on translation, I know what you wrote
