​@@SunTzu383 Either a super power or a group of states the apartheid system reached its limit extremist music like "kill the Boer farmer" was only the sign of it's limit I am not saying that now it is better because since Mandela's retirement and death the part of the ANC has this torch on his legacy but if apartheid would not be abolished there would certainly have been An equivalent of genocide against the Boers, even coloreds and native Indians, so great would have been the hatred among sub-Saharan people towards this system.

why is everyone in the comments saying "long live apartheid!, this is true south africa!" yes it's a good anthem, and yes the streets are clean but only 10% of everyone in south africa was able to enjoy that with the other 90% being forced to live in dirty slums sure modern south africa has corruption and crime but that exists everywhere in the world and south africa is still the 3rd largest economy in africa it still has one of the best living standards on the continent and it is a complete democracy that lets everyone vote unlike apartheid which only let 10% of all people vote and the anthem back then was good but today it's better seriously just listen to it also remember, saying you support apartheid means you support racism and white dominance which is like supporting the csa or nazi germany.

Not necessarily the case. I loved the old South Africa I grew up in. But we also recognized things had to change and that's why we voted yes. But then things went south, and we left. So unfortunate the ANC couldn't build on what was handed to them on a silver plate. To the benefit of all South Africans.
