This makes a lot of sense now cause in Hitman freelancer you unlock wall art for your hideout and one of the paints is rats playing poker, didn’t realize it was a nod to Blood Money.

The same concept has been done on Max Payne game too but a little bit different. On chapter 3, throw a grenade through that hole in the wall at the beginning of the level. Once you go further and up the stairs, the rats will shoot you with their desert eagles ;)

I don't think I've ever played a game with rats and not tried to shoot them lmao. I could easily see a player just shooting them for fun first thing they do, not noticing they spawned the card and just finding it and then yeah you just hunt for a key card door... Now as for the naked birthday men easter egg in a later level I have no idea how they expected anyone to find that one.

God I remember this was probably the 2nd mission in the game. I always used the jacket approach. Blood Money was the best one in the series for me.

Hitman: Blood Money has the most random easter eggs. I am convinced that I will learn about new ones in that game even when I am old.
