Did You Know? Some Airbus A350s Sport Different Winglets

Let's say that you're sitting at an airport gate looking out at all the big jets parked on the apron. Because you're already familiar with the basics of planespotting and aircraft identification, you see that two Airbus A350s are parked side by side. To your knowledge, there is only the A350-900 and the A350-1000, but the jets you see are both -900s.
And…with no updated 'neo' type variants yet to be announced.., it seems odd that the two A350s in front of you have different winglets. So why might this be? Let’s explore the answer to this for today’s video!

Unfortunately it took some light from the A330 NEOs. ...which is also a very versatile wide body and it's my favorite for the way it flies, the way it lands and looks. Due to Boeing company name, everybody praises the Dreamliner, but the truth is that it's not that better than the A330neo. All things considered: Capacity, passengers and cargo, range, operating speed, operating costs, price of acquisition, cabin noise, state of the art cockpit, the Dreamliner doesn't win them all and I don't even know if it wins most of them. It's better on some, less on others.

To me, 330 is not dead yet. The surge in demand and Boeing's internal issues plus the backlog of 350 and 321 can push customers towards 330. It is also worth mentioning that old 330s are just starting to retire. It won't definitely beat 787 in sales but might have a remarkable come back.@@miks564

With raked wing designs (removing the need for a winglet) they too can undergo evolution. The 767-400ER introduced the first type and the 777X and Embraer E2 regional jet program use the 4th generation (there was a previous 3rd generation the 787 started with before it was improved to the current 4th after making the midsized variant)
