Imagine The Internet of Things, once Web3 is old enough to be too slow for our traffic. Anywhere there are people living in dense populations, there's going to be so many sensors, for each individual person, that our minds won't keep up. We'll just stop seeing them, and thinking about them. [ If Facebook was able to use a Shadow-Profile, of a person who didn't even have a FB account, to predict personal events in that person's life before said person was even aware of it, ] An AI, or a prediction / model building Bot with tomorrow's data-stream is going to be able to see into the future, ore some crazy sh1t.

I’ve not figured out how to set up rid on my air 3 nor do i care how to. I have a secondary RID mod purchase properly charged and secured with many layers of aluminum tape so it doesn’t fall off. This was a recommendation of a genius within comments somewhere on youtube.

That song should be No# 1 on the Christian Radio Charts! Never charge your remote ID battery before flying is what I got out of this video!

I have a remote ID module when i fly my big drone but most of the time i forget to turn the dam thing on, the FAA has the serial number of the remote ID module, so hell with it, sometimes it's on and sometimes it's not. LOL

I was flying my evo lite+ at hyperfest(media team) and didnt realize it makes the drone stop at 1500ft from launch.

Hey Ken, at 2:18 you say that operators move away from their RID starting location to avoid conflicts and that it's against FAA regulations. Is that true? How does that apply if I'm flying from my boat? Can I be sailing along and flying, or would I be required to stop and anchor. Maybe ask Brian?

Question won’t the Wi-Fi mess with the 2.4 control signal or shorten your range for your 2.4 transmission from the controller or whatever video system

I think the communications of these remote modules should we check to see if they interfere with any of our FPV equipment? People are falling out the sky having fail safe because remote ID modules?

Under RID this is the "implied" rule. Lots of current FAA regulations are very subjective, which is why there's so much confusion.

The bigger a government is and the more laws it has the more corrupt it is. What made our country great originally was the idea of a small government with limited basic laws.

It cost me over $1000 to upgrade my drone last year to meet the FAA regs, and I'm sure that my new drone flying around residential properties for insurance inspections with a new remote ID enabled drone greatly improved national security.

Wait...not standing by my big dangerous helicopter when I take off is against regulations?

I've started flying fixed wings as well as my Quad rotor UAS and I am finding the underlying Hate for DRONES is real with a lot of fixed wingers. The fact that they are more than happy to endure the Club/costs of that side of the hobby is insane. The vast majority of Sub 250gram in fixed wings is barely usable to downright Garbage packaging material.

Most RID modules are garbage. They include their own lipo; yet another thing to charge and more weight. I thought we were long past that with BEC. They should run off of the system power. Also, most include a GPS module. This increases price and is another thing that needs good reception. You cannot fly until the 2nd GPS gets lock. There are a few modules that are just the broadcast part and that's it. I am running one of them. But they are quite rare which is crazy.

You deserve the unjust laws that you comply with. It's that simple.

Thanks for the adventure. Yet I have to differ about the new stupid RID modules they are selling now. Do people think without it, they are free to fly anywhere. Do people think a drone can't be tracked without it. I have a mini 2 and test this out daily. I fly every morning on NORAD Mountain. Safe zones always. I get downed every time I cross the fence. Yet even when I don't...they know i'm there. Uusally within 30 seconds into flight there is a chopper coming my way. So I land. Every-time the choppa circles my neighborhood so close you can see him smile. Maybe in some parts of the country this technology isn't present. It is in my area, and has been available to the military since I first flew the mini 1. The tech is available to some...not to all. Have a great day!
