    Had one of these in around 2000, was my first sampler. just before the 2000xl came out. I just used to loop beats and pitch them down, couldn’t do much else at the time. No KZread in those days had to read the manual, same way I learnt the 2000xl. You should get a eps16 plus, they’re amazing lots of options for changing the quality of the samples, I think it’s the perfect sampler for exploring crushing samples and getting really nice artefacts

    Nice to see another js-30 video. Not many good videos out there on the js-30. It was my first peice of gear. Bought it back in 2000 and it didn't come with a manual. Hopefully you release some more videos on it in the future. If you haven't read the manual I recommend that you do. Performances can be assigned to a pad so you can play it that way instead of having to press play.

Maybe practice what you want to say a few times so you don't have to edit everything out. I have a really hard time watching this video, although the subject, this sampler, really interests me. • @yepyep3897

    @yepyep3897

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@IanJamesBeats Yes, these machines are specialized computers. Yet, they often use long-lost source code and no longer made converter chips. The sound is much more than the software or even the converter chips. The analog implementations of the older chips and the sometimes analog filters are much of the sound, which software can't get next to. People want to fantasize that easier-to-use and less expensive software can duplicate what hardware can do, but that's plain silly.
