A lot of communities have similar Facebook pages. In my county in Florida, we have one called stand up to stand out and it operates much the same. The administrator of the page was poor and homeless herself at one time and they offer up free furniture, free kids clothing items that people would normallysell in a garage sale or give to Goodwill. They will instead giveaway. People have helped with utilities car payments hotels. And there are people that chronically ask for too much and they will be banned as well.

Contacts are a necessity for many (because having it directly on there pupil allows for clearer vision than eye glasses with the same prescription) and are often less expensive than glasses; however I agree with there rest of your statement.

I cannot believe how many people think others should pay their bills. They are online grifters. If you cannot afford vet bills then do not get an animal. If you are low income then learn to budget. In Canada as a single mother I got FBA throughout university and worked part time throughout. I had to pay tuition and books and lab fees. I budgeted very carefully and never borrowed money. If you cannot afford something better yourself or get a second job.

For example...HUD, Social security disability for people who can work, which is most of them, and foodstamps. We have a neighborhood group in this small town in which i reside. When i first joined, it was nice--people offering to shovel snow for those who werent able, etc. Requests for referrals for contractors, etc. Just neighbors helping neighbors. Then, about a month in, the begging for money began. People requesting thousands of dollars for home improvements, hwlp with bills, etc. After the third begging request, i extracted myself from the neighborhood group. It became ridiculous.

"Im a scammer, and they refused to give me more money when they found out!!"

My word, imagine living inside the plaintiffs' brains! Imagine that. She's just keeps talking about why she needed money, why she needed all these people to just hand her money! Because she needs it. And she's "only" gotten handouts of $500+? And she's complaining about it? W. O. W.

This is hilarious and sad....It's Sadilarious. WHY DO YOU HAVE A DOG IF YOU HAVE NO MONEY?!!
