Why does Gaby care so much about the fact that he's in the bath? I don't get it. It's not like he took his clothes off or something; he was fully dressed, just sitting in the bath. I wouldn't see the issue with that part of it whether it was plumbed in or not. Stealing doughnuts I see the problem with, taking a break if you're not meant to I see the problem with... but who cares if he sits in the bath??? At least he won't make a mess...

i think it's less caring that he was in the bath than being confused. like, presumable the doughnuts were originally in the kitchen, if you're going to eat them why not 1. stay there or 2. go sit down somewhere comfortable? which in my book is not a bath

Not only that it happens. It's a general stereotype about builders in UK.

I could believe a builder would sit in the bath before it's done, but they surely wouldn't steal doughnuts from the fridge. Any kind of treat like that the owner's definitely going to notice.
