Did I Make A Huge Mistake? Investing In 1-Ounce Silver Rounds!

Did I really mess up buying silver rounds? Buying or investing in 1-ounce silver rounds! We can buy pretty much any type of silver that we want as long as we have the funds to pay for it. I’m saying we have choices. And in my years of stacking, I have bought a lot of rounds. I want to tell you what I learned and what I feel is the best part of buying one ounce silver rounds over everything else and I want to tell you what I think are red flags to look at when you buy round and some of this is even for buying coins.
I want to give A BIG Thank you, to each and every one of you that subscribe, like, share and watch my videos. This channel is for YOU, for your entertainment. I bought Tons of Silver Rounds for $24+ to $25 Ounce & just sold generic rounds to my Local Coin Shop for $31 Ounce. Made nice little profit & I was very happy. Invested in little Pre-33 Gold & Sovereignty Gold for my Portfolio. That’s the reason I been stacking silver to be in control of my own saving account & for the Long Haul.

When I first started stacking silver I bought pretty much anything silver. I bought coins, rounds, bars, junk silver, poured and even commemoratives. After a while I came to realize that rounds were the best buy for 2 reasons. As a rule, you get more for the buck, and they don't have the higher premiums that the others have. When you try to sell coins and some of the others, it's hard to recoup those premiums. Another thing I noticed is that I used to be able to buy the older rounds a little cheaper but now dealers are calling them art or vintage and charge a higher premium for them.

U.S. centric answer. One eaches high premium for a stackollection? That’s OK. For stacking, if going with the cheapest for stacking, it’s best. That pretty much excludes sovereign bullion. Today’s market makes it clear. Except for ASE’s, you will be lucky to get spot when you sell if everyone else is selling too.

I started buying metals in 2017, but I watched at least 100 videos from stackers BEFORE I started to buy. Right from the start, even though the rounds were less costly, I did not trust that they would be as easy to sell if ever I had to cash in... I do have one silver Buffalo round and maybe a couple of other rounds, I have that freedom round and a prospector bar, but mostly I have coins with Queen Elizabeth on them. I do have coins of many different countries, not many from the U.S. though because of the high premiums. I am not in the U.S. and there is not so much available here in Canada. I have never found anything at spot price from any Canadian online dealer and there are no local coin shops where I live. I hope you didn't get too many that you don't think were a good purchase. At first I did not buy any bars but I did buy some over the past couple of years. I only buy from reputable dealers. I do like beautiful designs on coins, and you have some lovely ones, so I may decide to buy some more rounds.

The problem here is your premise that you need to “make money off of” silver (rounds, coins, bars, or whatever). Precious metals are not for speculation, and they’re not even investments. They are one means of preserving your buying power-that’s it. If someday you sell your silver for more dollars than you paid for it, that doesn’t mean it’s suddenly “worth more”; it means that your country’s currency is going down the toilet.

I've been stacking for the better part of the last two decades (2003), and 90% if not more is stuff that is minted by governments, in the last 10% is rounds but those rounds are mostly just Buffalo, but, they are the premium type of buffaloes with the SI mint mark.. I also have a mix of germanium mint as well as the old school ones you're talking about in this video that I can't spell😂... I don't really prefer rounds because usually if prices are going way up they can turn you away saying they're only coins.. and years ago during a run-up people were not even taken the rounds saying they were unable to move them but if I was willing to sell them $4 under spot they would take them.... I also have the same problem with 90% they always tend to be right at spot which is fine with me but most of the time it's a few dollars back of spot... Thusly, I stick with coins now lol... but there are some collector pieces that are very highly sought-after so those are more of a private sell type of situation... anyways I use Voice to Text due to my disabilities sorry if anything didn't turn out quite right but I'm sure you get the point..
