Yes I get the same question that did I convert for a boy or to get married and when I tell them that I converted for myself and I've been learning about Islam since I was 14 years old and I converted when I was 20 and now I'm 23, and Alhamdulillah I did that all by myself not for anyone, I only did it for Allah and for my soul and body and for the love of Allah and RasoolAllah ﷺ and the beauty of Islam, and to say that before I started learning about Islam I was taught to hate Islam and Muslim by the media and my family but when I was able to think for myself and I learnt Islam by myself I started to love Islam more and more, my answers where answered and life started to make sense Alhamdulillah, when people hear this they are shocked I didn't do it for a boy... I said no I can think for myself and I do it for Allah no one else

Similar here I'm a pagan, I started learning about the old gods and goddesses when I was 8 or so, my mom had a tarot deck and I would do readings for myself. The more I researched the more I feel in love with the religion I began practicing at 12 it's been 3 years and dealing with people's misconceptions is both concerning and interesting. I began practicing for myself and only myself.

i'm not religious myself, but i love seeing people like you who are really in love with their religion, who see it as such a positive thing. i see a lot of people who use their religion to promote hate, and i see even more people who hate religion and religious people because of those people, so it's wonderful to see someone who loves their religion and practices it with love.

I am very young right now, and I’m just fascinated by Islam, and I’m thinking as of right now (this might change) that in the future I want to convert, but I don’t know that much about Islam and how others and my family would view me if I did convert. If you could, could you please give me tips or stories about growing older and learning more about Islam? I’m very interested

I was going to say that, it is pleasing for Muslim people that other people notice these things and say this. I have many friends with hijabs, although I learn many things from them. There are those who are Muslims but do not wear hijabs, including myself, but there is really no difference from the others, they are just helping people with their more selective words, they are pulling people to the good path like themselves .

In 2014 I heard the Muslim prayer song that my boyfriend at the time would play just. Before prayer to Allah I was sincerely interested in the Islamic religion. I converted and married this man. I posted my Islamic wedding on Facebook only to be told by him to remove the post and untag him as it was Haram. He was emotionally abusive to me . He would not even give me 10 dollars unless I paid it back . He was working at strip clubs and having sex with numerous woman, I was so stressed out. I'd get pregnant and miscarry because of the upset of his infidelity and abuse I wasn't allowed to go to the Mosque to educate myself as a Muslim woman After all this happened I wanted nothing to do with the Islamic religion

Like this annoys me. For a lot of reverts, reverting is a big lifestyle change. They might need to give up certain things. Do they think that a person would flip their life around just to marry? Nothing wrong with getting married, but changing your entire life for it seems a bit much, to me.

May I ask a question? Just out of curiosity, I let’s say a western woman wants to marry a Muslim and she is either an atheist or any other religion is she obligated to convert into Islam and change the way she is dressing? Apologies if I said something offensive I don’t know much about Muslim culture, but I always wondered if that was something one must do or it depends of the person you marry and their family traditions.

Sunni and shia denominations are not 100% Allah's Islam. Its Islam from hadith not from purely from Qur'an. Sunnism is a version of Islam thats clearly corrupted with pagan influences. The prophets version of Islam is The Qur'an only and it warns against following books after the Qur'an. The traditional muslims only followed the Qur'an. The hadith contradicts the Qur'an with its mere existence let alone blatant contradictions to the Qur'an. The Qur'an alone is sufficient. The Qur'an has neglected nothing. Qur'an says dont kill apostates. Hadith says kill apostates Qur'an says dont kill adulterers. Hadith says kill adulterers. Qur'an says leave a will for family when you die. Hadith says dont leave a will. Qur'an says Christians, jews and sabians can all go to heaven. Hadith says only muslims go to heaven. Qur'an tells us not to divide into sects. Hadith says there will be 73 sects and only one goes to heaven. Qur'an says they thought the prophet was bewitched but he was not. Hadith says he actually was bewitched. Qur'an says there is medicine in honey. Hadith says there is medicine in camel urine. Qur'an says no one knows the hour but Allah. Hadith says the hour will be on a Friday. Qur'an says you cant speak to the dead. Hadith says you can speak to the dead. Qur'an says to pray 3 times. Hadith says to pray 5 times with over complicated rituals. Qur'an says you cant marry a 6 year old. Hadith says the prophet married 6 year aisha Summary of contradictions obviously not word for word from scripture. Hadith talk of adult breastfeeding and claims the prophet had his chest literally cut open and his heart removed as a child to give him wisdom and purify. Just like Christian bible has false sayings attributed to Jesus the hadith has false sayings attributed to Muhammad. Both books came 200 + years after the prophets and neither prophet confirmed any of it. The ONLY Book thats purely directly from God is the holy Qur'an. Which confirms and CORRECTS previous scripture and warns against following books after the Qur'an (final testament) 41:43 Nothing has been said to you which was not said to the Messengers who lived before you. Your Lord is certainly All-forgiving, but stern in His retribution. 42:13 He has prescribed for you the same religion which He enjoined upon Noah, and that which We have revealed to you and that which We enjoined upon Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: “You should uphold the religion and make no divisions therein.” What you are calling the polytheists to is very hard for them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides to Himself who turns to Him [6:159] Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done. (42:48) (O Prophet), if they turn away from the Truth, know that We did not send you to them as their overseer. Your task is only to convey (the Message). Indeed when We give man a taste of Our Mercy, he exults in it. But if any misfortune afflicts them on account of their deeds, man is utterly ungrateful. The Children of Israel. [17.88] Say: "If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others." The Children of Israel. [17.88] Say: "If men and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they could not bring the like of it, though some of them were aiders of others." The Qur'an does warn against blindly following other books. In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 170, it says, "And when it is said to them, 'Follow what Allah has revealed,' they say, 'Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing.' Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?" This verse encourages individuals to critically evaluate the teachings they follow and not simply adhere to them based on tradition or the practices of their ancestors. It emphasizes the importance of seeking guidance from the Qur'an alone and using reason and understanding to make informed choices (45:6) "These are the Messages of Allah We convey to you with Truth. Then, in what HADITH, if not in Allah and His Verses, will they believe"
