I've met white women who converted to Islam and in every case, they had a history of sexual abuse, and they were looking for a way to cover and protect themselves from future abuse. They also were looking for structure and rules because they grew up without any. Every single time!!

Life is beautiful when you are in New Zealand, no matter the religion. I want her to move to arab countries like, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Morocco, Afghanistan or Pakistan, and stay there for at least a year, then we will talk!

Who tf cares. No one takes EVERY single thing out of any of these books 100% literally. The bible was pretty clear on mixing fabrics, no one cares. If a Muslim woman does or does not want to wear a hijab, why would I stand here cynically on the sidelines going “well you’re supposed to anyway cause otherwise your sinning!” Like I’ve read every single Hadith knowing damn well I don’t know any.

I hope there is a misunderstanding here, I totally agree with you. I think about the journey she is talking about is the things a hijabi will face after putting on a hijab,that journey of daily struggle to feel like before but people started to make you feel different. The journey of being comfortable and confident in hijab then going to the next stages of more modest clothing and so on.... And btw you and Allah swt means you don't have to explain to people about your decision again and again, Allah knows what's in your heart and you are on this new journey so whatever someone feels they should ask Allah for making their iman strong.. well again this is what I interpreted hope it helps😊

Hijab has rules and you broke all of them. You either wear the hijab the right way how Allah and prophet guided or dont bother yourself with it.
