Nic: In your version of reality how does the 2024 election get done then? You would never hear the end of it in your lifetime if the 2024 election spun into chaos. I can see how an orderly process could be had after Trump announced his VP selection. Trump is now already a broken man, trading on his son's graduation for sympathy. I see no path at all for Trump to get what he wants. He has already, himself, alienated the jury. His only way to win would have been for his wife to sit at his side to prop him up as a good husband. That's not going to happen. So what about all the rest of us? How do we get our just election? I'm just talking nuts and bolts. Should I be planning on getting a no excuse absentee ballot in order to avoid voting riots? I understand the poetic justice part. I understand the equal justice part. I understand the part about Trump self sabotaging. Is your image of the election that Trump would merely be left on the ballots and his VP be sworn in as VP IF they won and Trump was denied a furlough to be sworn in? Otherwise, we dump the stress of an atypical transition that would usually be a incumbent inauguration? You just want to dump all those atypical stresses on Biden's inauguration committee? Even a week before inauguration, who could guess what kind of security would be adequate? Many people are looking at these circumstances as stereotypical. You right now have the social chaos the far right want. They have picked Trump BECAUSE he can create that chaos. When he becomes unavailable, they will pick another old white man or middle aged white man because their fury is about the possibility that a Black woman will be president. The judge is NOT favoring Trump as a rich white man. The judge is attempting to keep his courtroom and this trial as close to being normal as possible. I am NOT siding with Trump. I am siding with the judge. Yes, I believe Trump is deliberately trying to get jailed. If it is true that he is, why would you want him to get his way? The judge not taking the bait will just make Trump more enraged. The trial will get to be more of a pressure cooker. That might mean we have yet to see Trump's worst behavior break out in public. Some of his staff have seen some of his worst behavior. He lounged in bed in his pajamas all day watching TV and being waited on instead of doing the job of president. He took out his rage on federal death row inmates during his last 6 months in office, killing more of them than any president in over 100 years. He did who can guess what with USA diplomatic pouches for 3 1\2 years, having fired career diplomatic civil service who did not quit and who during a normal administration supervised even the president's uses of diplomatic pouches. The list goes on. He does everything except spending his money to buy a mercenary army for revolution. He keeps fantasizing that MAGA will give him a free one. MAGA keep fantasizing they can be rid of the Constitutional Amendments that enfranchise non-whites and women. MAGA don't have the imagination to realize non-MAGA can rise atop cargo trains and drive and fly out of the USA and take a safe vacation and leave MAGA behind to be dealt with by military drones. MAGA don't get to shoot people. They only get to defend themselves from military drones if MAGA revolt violently. Republican politicians are losing their racially segregated system of disenfranchising Blacks and Hispanics because Hofeller died and his secret records got subpoenaed by Common Cause. Republican politicians are hysterical and desperate. Red States are sending wild eyed petitions to their own Supreme Court to officially reinstall racial segregation on elections, and their own Supreme Court is ignoring those petitions. Too many are NOT READING any news and are merely recirculating propaganda. Most accused criminal felons DON'T go to prison during trials/appeals unless violent for the simple reason taxpayers don't like paying $40,000/yr to guard and feed them.
What a role model he would be as our president. Really terrible for our children.

Why does that matter. Hillary paid for a story to influence and election(dossier) and the FBI used it for a FISA warrant knowing it was false. Her husband paid Ms Flowers 750,000 for what? But Trump BAD!!!
I don't particularly care if he cheated, that's between him and his wife. However as someone who grew up in a Christian household and attended Sunday school every week I find the Conservative "Christians" support him when he so clearly doesn't represent their proposed family values to be incredibly offensive.

In 1996, the Association to Benefit Children, a charity, held a ribbon-cutting at a nursery school serving children with AIDS in Manhattan. Bigwigs who had donated a lot of money, like then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former mayor David Dinkins, and Frank and Kathie Lee Gifford were in attendance. But there was another dude who showed up-despite not being a donor at all. Guess who?7 "Nobody knew he was coming," another donor in attendance told the Washington Post. "There's this kind of ruckus at the door, and I don't know what was going on, and in comes Donald Trump. He just gets up on the podium and sits down." According to the charity's executive director, Trump had never given a single dollar to the charity or the nursery school. But you know who did? The dude whose seat was stolen by Trump. Steven Fisher, a developer, had given a lot to the charity to build the nursery school. While the people sitting around Trump were concerned about him just showing up and jacking the Fisher's seat, the ceremony had already started and there wasn't much they could do by that point. As photographers took pictures, a children's choir sang "This Little Light of Mine," all while Trump sat nearby, looking like he was actually an honored donor. Trump even did the Macarena with some of the children and stars onstage. After the event though, Trump left without explaining his uninvited attendance-and he exited without even donating anything either. The next day, the charity's executive director had to email Fisher to apologize. "I immediately said 'no,' but Rudy Giuliani said 'yes' and I felt I had to accede to him," the executive director explained. "I am just heartsick. I hope you can forgive me," the executive director pleaded. Trump never apologized.

Did not see any interrupting, only restrained enthusiasm for the topic of discussion. If anyone interrupts here, it's the host who also has to moderate because it's commercial television. All three are quite respectful of each other and patiently give each other the floor to speak when it's their turn. Wish there were more of this behavior on TV.

It's a classic example of "mansplaining" and since you are male, you don't seem to be sensitized to this type of interruption which is, sadly, all too common. She certainly never interrupted Harry while HE was answering questions!
Wish Harry Litman didnt interrupt people with whatever he wants to say before they finish.
