Eagle McMahon once had what was considered the most dangerous weapon in all of disc golf. His ability to throw a sidearm 500+ feet led to him becoming one of the top players in all of disc golf. This all changed after he sustained a shoulder injury in late 2021, and has since struggled to throw his forehand without pain or discomfort. In 2023, after undergoing stem cell injections, Eagle modified the way he threw his forehand to make up for the lack of stability that his shoulder had.
What exactly did Eagle change about his forehand in 2023, and now that he is coming off of offseason shoulder surgery, what can we expect to see from him in 2024?

Speaking as someone who has a torn labrum and been dealing with it for 18 years from baseball. I had to learn lefty backhand for driving and FH under 220ft
Always thought it was funny when people criticized my forehand throw 20 years ago for getting low down in a lunge like stance and propelling off my right foot for rotation like Eagle does. I was getting distance they couldn't and its great to see that Eagle is proving me right with nearly identical form. I can still put some out over 400' but as you age your arm slows and backhand gets easier on your joints.
