This is a tricky situation. Deion has experienced this over 30 years ago. At that time NFL teams were owned by Used Car Salesmen and a few Oilmen. Even if you use the Mannings the NFL was run differently. Now it’s a Billionaires game and optics are important to them. I’m not sure they will bend to Deion & company. Jerry Jones or Arthur Blank may see the benefit to bringing them in. But I still think that’s a long shot. This will be interesting stuff to watch🏈

@@kwamearhin2800 Who knows?? I don't know. You don't know either. However, framing your point with "losing their minds" is a bit overboard. Chill with the reaching, keep the argument in perspective and stick with the topic. Shedeur would've balled out had he had an O-line as good as Caleb and J.J. Nostrodamus would've predicted that. I believe alot of folks like yourself are way too hung up with the team's overall record. If you watched all of them, you would've REASONABLY noticed that with the exception of 2 games, the Buffs competed fairly well and could've secured victories in all of the other games, considering this was their first season collectively. O-Line has been revamped. Compare Shedeur's ESPN stats with Caleb's and J.J's. Again, Colorado's O-line was trash. With that being said, barring injury, get your popcorn ready for this upcoming season.

C'mon now. This is nothing new. I don’t remember all of this energy when Elway insisted that he wouldn't play for the Colts. Or Eli Manning for that manner. Coach Prime is in a great position to point his sons into the better situation for them. I wished that Justin Fields father had known how toxic the Bears organization is and led Justin somewhere else. I'm a 60+ year Bears fan and I was excited when Justin was drafted but also very concerned for his career because I was aware of the organization dysfunction. I watched my worse fears come to life and hopefully Justin can go on and maximize his potential in Pittsburgh. He lost 3 years of his life and career in the Bears cesspool called Halas Hall. Things can only be better in Pittsburgh. Deion knows besr.

Deion needs to stop this bravado stuff. All he has to say is I'll allow the draft experts to decide. This is like LeBron saying he wants to play with his son in the NBA and very excited about it, but Bronny is not an NBA player and already undersized. Bronny would have had a better chance of being a QB instead of an NBA player. These Dads need to stop putting so much pressure on their children. I was there when Deion started coaching in the FFL. That's the Frisco Football League in Frisco, TX, in 2008. Our sons played in the same league. They were 7, 8 years old at the time. I am proud to see where Deion is today. I can actually say I was there at the beginning and saw him be great. My son was trash and wore #21. Deion told my son I want you to go out and make my nunber proud. My son had 9 sacks in the game and did nothing for the rest of the season.

Shaedur is an adult. Men need to be able to make decisions on their own because, at some point, we are tasked with leading a family. We CANNOT be looking for mommy and daddy to tell us how to move once we're on our own. If you're a parent, once your child reaches a certain age and point in life, you have to trust that the lessons you gave your kid are enough for them to make sound decisions and to be a fully functional adult.

Numbers wise, they have EXCEEDED the hype! Do we understand parenting here? EVERY parent wants to pave the way for their child no matter the profession. What's disgusting is the LARGE number of black men that COMPLAIN about the systems in this country yet STILL COMPLAIN about a black man making hedgeway for his son to be successful in this same system. Why can't we CELEBRATE having a DIRECT LINE to the NFL? Always remember, this is NOT Primes first time around this block. HE KNOWS what's ahead; the good, the bad AND the ugly. Yeah they won 4 games in 2023 but in 2022 they only won 1 game. Deion tore the team down and started a rebuild and in the process quadrupled the win total in 2023. He had zero offensive line and Shadeur took a beating. But with new recruits coming in for this year things are looking up for the program. Oh, btw from a financial standpoint the university had an extremely good year thanks to the football program. So stop the hating and put a little RESPECT on the Sanders' name. They've earned it.

This is clearly a case of revisionist history, every last one of the players that found themselves with options coming into the NFL had their fathers or representation out front. Holley opinion is based in nothing more that a disdain for prime being able to set his own narrative against the status quo. Prime understands that his players leverage may be in them both having one year of eligibility following the '25 season. Just like everything else when Prime say it, it's a problem...Go Figure

Lavar ball spike for his kids too how'd that work? Pushed one going to the Lakers and his first game pat Beverly was defending him full court. And now they're both in the background. Daddy put a target on their backs and then disappeared once trades and injuries happened. The hype train started last year when they beat you and then started 3-0 and then finished 4-whatever . Prove something before skipping steps and thinking your that guy.

@@YaItsJP not saying he doesn't and obviously deion knows how the NFL works but putting ridiculous expectations and a target on a kids back before ever playing a professional game is kinda straight out the ball hand book. Last year after a couple games people were talking about shedur going in this years draft and that wouldn't of been good cause he'd be the 4th- 5th QB at best. And shedur doesn't have the usfl or MLB to fall back on like elway, Kelley and others have of the past. Jim Kelley didn't want to go to buffalo and went to the usfl and when that collapsed had to go to buffalo and is a hero there now. Eli didn't want to go to San Diego and on draft day was traded for Phillip rivers who really had a better statistical career then Eli, other that those two Superbowls Eli is a .500 QB 👏. And those two Superbowls are over hyped because it was against Brady and the pats. Eli started his career by being benched for Kurt Warner after throwing ints like it was his job. Elway was great but was BLOWN out in his first few Superbowls and won two at the end off Terrell Davis back basically but is now considered a top 5-10 QB all time, without those two Superbowls at the end history would remember him differently. Whatever happened to players having to prove themselves? Cause if Colorado has another season like last year sherdur will be lucky to go in the first round let alone top 4.

@YaItsJP Ain't this something some young kid trying to school a 50 year old man who knew Deion trying to tell me what I don't know? Kid, let me explain something to you. My son and Deions kids played and practiced on the same field in 2008 for the FFL in Frisco, TX off Eldorado and 121 in a residential park. In this same area, many retired athletes live in this community. I know a lot. I know why Jerry Jones didn't hire Bill Belicheck. I know the players in the locker room at the Star in Frisco have lost confidence in Dak. They prefer Cooper or give Trey a chance, anyone, but Dak. It's a fractured locker room, and Jerry isn't making things better. I lived right around the corner from where Marion Barber died in Frisco. My daughter went to the prom with Tony Dorsetts grandson. I often see Tony out and about. He used to be my hero, and now he's not. Why because I know things. Son, watch your mouth when talking to grown men. You have no idea who you're talking to. Again, ex players don't have a clue to what's going on in any organization. Yes, Deion can gain access to any coach or any player on any team to get details, but as of right now. Deion is just as clueless about what's going on in any organization as you and I are.
