The bear DID NOT overdose it was much more awful than that the 75 pounds of coke turned into a giant coke rock ball in his stomach and he couldnt digest it and died from trauma. they found only about 4 ounces or so of the coke was actually absorbed into him by the time he died

Yeah but not like that. A drug smuggler was about to be caught by authorities and he and copilot pushed a few dufflebags filled with cocaine out of plane and then jump. The copilot survived and the pilot died. Parachute didn't open. The bear found one of the bags. A hunter found the bear dead already. Called in later about the finding based on news reports of smugglers operation. Authorities found the bear, tested it and found the drugs in system.

In real life he never actually killed anyone

It actually did happen in 1985 in Tennessee but the bear didn't go on a murderous rampage depicted in the movie. That's just entertainment lol

How many of us really thought this movie was a fiction movie! Now knowing that this movie is based off true events wow I wouldn’t be too surprised this movie makes some pretty good money at the box office! But rest in peace to the bear !

I would say Cocaine Bear has the same feel as the first Lake Placid movie than sharknado or snakes on a plane

I also heard that in the true story the bear ate the cocaine and ran for a couple minutes at top speed and it’s entire body shut down and a hunter found the dead body and didn’t know how it died
