You’re not supposed to run from most predators. Black bears you want to make yourself big and loud I think but if one goes after you then it’s trying to eat you. Grizzlies only really attack if they’re starving or if they have cubs and against a grizzly you want to slowly back away and if it goes for you, you have to get in the fetal position an cover your head and neck with your hands/arms.

Besides 90 percent of the movie is bullshit. The only truth is that a bear ingested cocaine and died shortly after. Look it up. Grizzlies are massive and aggressive, polar bears are one of the few animals that actively hunt people, sloth bears live in the same place as tigers so they are likely to attack of you breathe the wrong way, etc. Black bears are not very big and are often fairly timid.

Just watched this movie tonight. That was different. Lol. Scary and funny at the same time. Good horror/comedy.

It's funny how alot of movies with bears attacking people are black when Black bears usually run away and hardly ever attack people. Like the movie backcountry that movie was based on true events and the bear that supposedly attacked those people was a grizzly but in the movie it was a black bear it's just unrealistic when it shows a black bear attacking people when it hardly ever happens.
