I always like getting the cruise I think it's a great movie the first and second one and I heard that they're coming that David Michael Parr is coming out with a movie a new movie soon but I always like that in the cruisers and that it was played by these guys in the band and that that it was shot in Jersey and other places thank you heading in the cruisers and John cafferty and that Beaver Brown band I really enjoyed the music thank you all

It can not be understated how big that song was. In fact it did more to promote the Jersey/Springsteen sound than even Bruce did. I became a fan of The Boss AFTER I discovered this movie. I saw them in a little bar in La Jolla after the movie came out. Lots of fun!

No comparison whatsoever to Springsteen. You’re comparing a major leaguer to a Little League act. Springsteen as a lyricist alone has no peer. Be well.

Ahem...John Cafferty is from Rhode Island and the same age as Springsteen.It's no question who the bigger talent is. JC only ever released 4 albums.None in this century. I love these guys and always have but Bruce wins the Jersey sound hands down.
