I can't visually imagine this, and it's driving me crazy. Like, are they saying "If you're going one way, and at exactly 2 o'clock is the other guy, and after a few minutes that other boat still hasn't left 2 o'clock, then you're on a collision course." or are they referencing something else? Also, how the heck do you collide with something when the size doesn't change? If it's far away and small, you can't hit it. I think he meant the clock direction rule or something. It doesn't make sense otherwise.
