I totally detest when people like Robin say things like, "She has earned the right (to be an azzhole)....because she is one of the greats". The more you win, the more gracious and humble you should be.

I'm a fan of Caitlin Clark. Back when Taurasi made her "reality is coming" comment, I didn't see a problem. I thought she had a valid point. I think people made a lot of unnecessary drama out of that comment and its follow-up. But I get it, the media and podcasters need something to talk about, and that comment provided fuel. I don't havea problem with this week's comment, either. I don't blame her for keeping it short.

Taurasi doesn't know the difference between being The Goat and being an Old Goat. She is pathetic.

@@annajordan243 Taurasi was a member of a Team of ALL Star players in college that won those Championships. She didn't do it by herself as she wants to let on . C.C. has done more with less talent around her than any other Point Guard could.

I hope I am wrong but I don't think this match up will be fun at all for Fever/CC fans. I predict another chance for a team to rough her up as most teams have in their first meeting with CC. I don't think anything will change with the Fever offense to allow CC to be herself but instead, more of the same. In the post game media availability after last game, CC seemed defeated and surrendering to being a role player simply to feed her teammates at all costs. Chicago adjusted to that and did not send as many double and triple teams her way which allowed them to play more effective defense overall and held the Fever to 5 pts in the last 8 minutes. I think other teams will do the same going forward after getting their licks in on CC during first matchups.

The Fever GM and coach are clearly, undebatably tanking the season. Winning just enough to keep fans in the seats and tuned in at home. While losing more games than they win--on purpose. Sides is incompetent, but not as much as people think. Sides is implementing a strategy. A deep agenda that is actually league-wide. Undermien and sabotage Caitlin Clark. From the reffing to the league commish to her coach and even her own teammates, CC is being sabotaged by everyone around her. This is no longer a theory. The proof is there for those with working eyes. Stage 1 was costing her the Olympic slot. Stage 2 is to cost her ROTY. They'd keep her of the all-star team if they could hurdle the fan voting, too. Waiving Celeste was a big F-U to CC and her fans, since Celeste was friends with CC. They kept Boston's bestie--Saxton--who NEVER plays. How do you have the worst defense in the league and cut a 2-time conference DPOY in Celeste? No way--unless you are tanking. Period. They are pulling a Philly 76ers trust the process BS move.

Fever could have had former Mercury Skylar Diggins-Smith because she had a little quarrel with DT and wanted to come to Fever but Fever rejected her, so she went to Storm. Storm will crush Fever tonight, and so will Mercury this Sunday. Fever is in trouble because after that is Aces, with Chelsea Gray back from injury, Fever has no chance at all.

The fact that Taurasi isn’t in the top 10 for fan all-star voting speaks volumes regarding how the fans feel about her. Taurasi is abrasive and a has been.

Yeah, that made me smile as well. Taurasi reminds me of a Dale Earnhardt kind of character who will give you a little bump and wave as she goes by. I've said all along that I don't think its about CC at all but about her more obnoxious fans that are always putting down the league, the players, and CC coaches and teammates. Next year these same "fans" for lack of a better term, will complain and wonder why Bueckers isn't getting all the :hate"( and over-used word). Its the same reason Reese has gained respect from the players. She plays hard and her fans don't put down everyone and everything. Honestly I was with you until you started to compare Lebron to MJ. I can tell you it is not the case, we do not get upset because Lebron has reached MJ it’s because Lebron isn’t even close. You will never hear an MJ fan get upset when Kobe is mentioned because he was a likeness. MJ never had to grow in the NBA like everyone else. Many considered him the GOAT when he was on USA team destroying 8-0 vs NBA all stars. He had not even played in the NBA, and of course he dominated from day one.
