I worked for the airlines for years, and I know the importance of stringent security measures, but I'm glad Diana Ross brought attention to this because IMO, the airport authorities have been out of control (mad with power) for far too long. I mean let's be real ... like what the hell did these people think Diana effing Ross was going to do?

Diana was right to complain. They humiliates everyone and they are not nice about it

Utter rubbish. It's called Security Checks. You're forgetting Ms Ross has always been an egotistical unpleasant Diva with a bad attitude. She thinks she's something special, not to me or many others. She's just human.

i feel like this was an attack to humble her people hate a black woman with a mind of her own and with high self esteem. that whole thing that happened to her was completely out of line.

I like her hair though, always. But NOT what it's attached to. She keeps the texture of her hair BLACK. I'll give her that much. Not that there's anything wrong with straight hair. But I notice she keeps her hair texture black.

We’re all human. Sometimes our emotions may get the best of us. She lived a lot of life up to that point- things happen. But the airport definitely sucked.

You can tell that she was really affected by this and she handled herself really well during this interview. The thing that she did towards the security guard was not bad at all, but she was frustrated by how they behaved towards her. I can fully understand Diana´s opinion about this situation.

Totally sympathize with you Diana! London and Amsterdam airports were the most invasive and rude in handling foregin women . I experienced the same in London in December 1999.

I work for one of the busiest airports in the world and everybody has to go through this. What she's describing is exactly what a pat down is. She complained about the same thing years later on Twitter at the New Orleans airport. She thinks the rules don't apply to her.
