Brava! Diana is very accomplished. She's smooth. She's podium material.

There's a real grace of movement. Her skating is quite beguiling. She creates intrigue.

How come Eteri never brought her to the Olympics? She’s SO talented and arguably better than any of the other skaters Eteri has coached. Wow. I wonder if Eteri herself was this good back in the day.

She did not want to subject her child to the treatment she subjects others to get them to Olympic level, because she didn't want her body to be plagued by stress fractures, teared ligaments, anorexia and a destroyed back by age 16, which is what happens to every single one of her trainees, so he sent her daughter to a different sport

@@alicianieto2822 I watched programme about solo figure skating and Eteri. It is probably true that these jumps are doable for girls but not grown up women as they lose aerodynamics due to full hips, breasts etc. That is probably why she sent her daughter to do dancing on ice.

same sp music as anna scherbakova this 2018-2019 season! her brown dress was also used for medvedevas program in fs.. team tutberidze has a knack for recycling.

So I take it that sharing costumes is usual in Eteri's camp? Medvedeva used that same brown dress Davis is wearing for the 2014-2015 season and then Zagitova used the same red ballerina dress Medvedeva used as a junior....

I think that the trainimg camp paid for all the performance dresses/customes for their dancers thats why it gets pass on from one girl to another..

Приятная девчонка, неплохо выступает, она же не требует к себе особенного отношения, а если она дочь Этери, ей что обязательно быть самой лучшей спортсменкой? Она прежде всего человек, да к тому же ребенок.

It so embarrassing when people make their conclusion without any understanding. Diana has a hearing loss since childhood. And with the ages it becomes more difficult to fix jumps due to functional health problems. Eteri wasn’t softer to her daughter and they worked really hard all this years. And of course Diana wanted to be “Golden” in fs, but her health didn’t allow it.. Nevertheless, they decided to try dances and Diana looks fantastic in her new programs. So, SHAME ON YOU, hater.

It was really moving to see the interaction between them, the music and customs were magnifique complements of the flawless technique.

I didn't realise that Eteri reused the music from her SP for Anna Shcherbakovas SP. But I'm glad that Diana is happy doing ice dance

@@aurum496 no, just the way eteri coaches is abusive. Not letting your skaters drink water at competitions, weighing them constantly, not correcting and encouraging the bad technique that causes injuries, forcing her skaters to compete while injured and verbally berating your skaters is abuse.

Ain Syazween I just wanted to point out that a correct lutz in done with the outside edge, if not it is a flip. When a skater tries to do a lutz and ends up going on the inside edge, it is a flutz ^_^

Wow!!! Speaks for itself!!

She trained her daughter same as her other students. Diana also got broken leg and fracture because of this sport. But haters always come to Eteri, says she's a bullied woman and gave a pressure to her students. Diana close to Alina. All the students are good. They all good with Eteri. I will not have a chances to know who's yulia,zhenya,alina,alexandra,anna and elena without Eteri's team. This is because of their hard work and talented students.

Max Caulfield for me it's not a bully situation. We don't know the actual facts behind the scenes. Medvedeva such a hot temper person as she admits it in one of the documentary about her. And i think it's all about personal matters between she and Eteri. Like you said, for "A Reason". From one of journalists say that evgenia still close to Alina till now. I don't want to make any conclusion from none clear sources. What I commented about is just how i don't like haters gave hates comments and bashing Eteri and her team with rude words (thats the real bullies by haters). I also like Alexei Mishin, he so good as a coach. I love all russian skater and gymnasts. So proud of them.

This is my 1st time seeing her solo & wow! She's good!!! I agree about the hater thing. People say so many mean things like 'abuse'. Well it could be but people who never achieved true form of perfection, either sports or other things like singing, dancing etc, will never understand that that's part of the process. You need to do great sacrifices and unfathomable ways to have focus and total discipline. I myself came from the world of classical music and if I'm closeminded, all my mentors did to me was a form of abuse. Imagine rehearsing day to night every single day even on a sunday if we have a major performance. I even got health issues, vocal nodules in particular for voice overuse and never did I blame my mentors for it. Why? Because I love doing it - the process and outcome. And add that we're not only physically strained but with great emotional strain too that in the end made our minds stronger. I eventually did not pursue it realizing it's not what I really wanted for a career. And until today, I still don't see any of our 'discipline, sacrifices, and process' as a form of abuse. PS: Anyone who knows me might read this. Just to clarify, my back issues weren't from any of it. It's from a leisure sport. No one to blame but the accident.

Diana es la hija de Eteri Tutberidze una de las mejores entrenadoras de patinaje artístico femenino. Ella es en parte rusa por su madre y estadounidense por su padre. Diana recientemente al igual que su madre dejo el patinaje como solista y se cambio a danza en el hielo. También sufre de sordera lo que le impide escuchar bien. I was observing her skating, not her ability to hear, because on ice, as a skater, judges look at your ability to skate, not to hear, plus she is not almost deaf, she did have some medical help that improved her hearing.

Зинаида Петрова она почти ничего не слышит. В парном хоть с партнером работаешь, проще выступать, следя и за его движениями тоже, когда ты почти глухой

Танцевать под музыку Прокофьева немыслимо, в Золушке мы просто сначала просчитывали свои движения.

Так она ж в танцах уже выступает.

у нее конкретный диагноз - тугоухость третьей степени. тутберидзе сама об этом рассказывала. девочка учится в школе для детей с проблемами слуха

в себя слышите? из-за проблем со слухом она хорошо слышит музыку? из-за проблем со слухом она может быть весьма чувствительна к вибрации. и если она не пользуется слуховым аппаратом - то ни о каком "хорошо слышит" речь вообще не идет. в данном конкретном видео она была отдельно от музыки. скорее всего, каталась, считая про себя такты. да, если вам придет в голову приводить в качества примера хорошо слышащего и чувствующего музыку глухого Бетховена, то во-первых, он оглох во взрослом возрасте, а во-вторых, писал музыку, положив голову на крышку рояля, ориентируясь именно на вибрацию, а не на свой слух.

@Cristina Sousa oh okay. They said she was Deaf so I just assumed she couldn’t hear anything. Hearing impaired would have been a better term than “deaf”

she is better than all the other russian girls under eteri lol her technique is clean, where is she now? maybe since she has good technique and musicality and grace eteri must think she is bad because the rest of her training camp are bad technique robots

Yuna Kim's performance from Sochi can be called the most boring performance ever in the history of figure skating, also significaltly easier than Sotnikova. But there is no reason for putting this name everywhere even to completely unrelated videos. But Kim's crowd of idiots doesn't know what reason means.
